Not bad may go again. Bars and hotel close by for dinner and drinks. Bus stop is accross the road. Better to drive around as some distilleries are remote. Many thanks to the owners for having us. We will be back

We had an excellent stay at the Norlaggan. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was big, the room had yummy cookies upon arrival. It is close to everything in town. The bathroom is shared, however during our stay there were no other guests there. The host was very nice and accommodating, she provided us with a lot of advice...

The Norlaggan Guesthouse is in the main street in Abelour and is easy to find and the owner told the original house was over two hundred years old! The room was very comfortable and well appointed with a very good bed and tea coffee and biscuits in the room. The bathroom and toilet are shared but of excellent standard. I...

Paul and Rozz were delightful and welcomed us in their home. Wonderful experience. Beautiful walk on the river bank. Felt like we were time travelers. Thank you for the hospitality and great breakfast.

Norlaggan has a friendly owner with basic/traditional home facilities. If you would like to get to know other travellers and have a chat with the owners over breakfast, this is a nice place to say. Like a lot of places in scotland I would make sure you book the local favorite pub/restaurant before you arrive, as there is usually only...

I cannot tell you how happy we were to arrive in Ablerlour and meet Rose. She was the best host. There were three of us sharing a room and it was perfect. The size of the bathroom was huge, the shower was great. The beds were very comfy and the breakfast was perfect! We had a chance to visit with...

The land lady ,Laura, was very welcoming. The room was very surprising as it was practically half the house to ourselves. There was two of us. the bedroom had a king size bed and also had two single beds . Not only was it en-suite but we also had our own lounge with tea( etc) making facilities with heating and...

Stayed here for the past two nights, late February 2014. Being away from home whilst working, it is important to feel comfortable and 'at home', I certainly felt as much during my stay at norlaggan. Checking-in a fair bit earlier than expected wasn't a problem for Ros, my room being already made up for me. The room was well appointed,...

We stayed here on a Saturday night overnighter and were hoping to explore the local Scottish malt scene. On the way to Aberlour we saw that two of the bigger distilleries were closed for the weekend! Yikes! But our hostess at the Norlaggan had a great recommendation for dinner with a flight of malts, and got our name on the...

Was there for one night. Downstairs bedroom facing main road. No en-suite. Had to cross the entrance hall and climb stairs to the only toilet/bathroom, which had to be shared with at least two other rooms. Standard cooked breakfast - no fruit/no tomatoes. Not worth £45
