Absolutely lovely on all counts. First thing: The restaurant is up on the hill, by the ski slopes. You need to take a ski gondola to get there! The address "604 route de Moranches" is wrong: it's the address of the "Telecabine Montjoie" ski gondola that goes up to the right place ... but is closed in summer! In summer, you need to take the "Telecabine de la Gorge" gondola, which is located at: 2815 Route de Notre Dame de la Gorge, on road D902. Don't make the mistake! This will get you to a lovely lake with a nice chalet and excellent people. We arrived late, 5 people, at the wrong address. No worry, the hosts offered to come pick us up with their car! The restaurant's dinner was very nice, the staff young and helpful, and we got nice picnic sandwiches in the morning (and a bonus Reblochon cheese!). Rooms are very comfortable (beware, doors are squeaky, though!), and the atmosphere of the lodge is very warm. In summer, the lake is lovely and attracting (despite its water being cold!). The view on the mountains is superb. Overall, that was our best stop when doing the TMB. Worth the while!

Nice hotel, offering great value for money in an otherwise expensive area. The restaurant serves traditional Savoyard cuisine at affordable prices. I'll never forget the breathtaking mountain views. Although not exactly to my liking the hotel is highly recommendable if you fancy this kind of accommodations. Worth a visit both in summer and winter.

A great little hotel with direct access to the pistes (gondola 50m, chairlift 200m), friendly and helpful staff, local food and a well stocked bar. The hotel has free wifi, a ski boot heater, a locked ski room and a large living room with T.V. and a computer area. The accommodation is chalet style with on suite showers and toilets in most rooms, all rooms are cleaned daily, are warm and comfortable with great views. The hotel doubles as a mountain restaurant during the daytime and has a separate dinning area for hotel guests, food and drinks can also be bought from the mountain restaurant area and put directly on your room, to save using cash. The nearest cash machine is in the main village, however most of the mountain restaurants take cards. You will have to reach the lift station before the lifts close to access the hotel during the week, on Friday and Saturday there's a late lift that runs from 7PM for half an hour. Our group all enjoyed their stay and would deffinatly come back.

We stayed here during our TMB. We were group of 9 people (ages 15-65). Yo reach the hotel by Gondola (you leave you car at the parking lot). Rooms are clean and spacious. Good dinner and breakfast were included, Wonderful location and very good service.

We stayed here for a week of excellent skiing and the General Manager Anne-Francoise was absolutely delightful. She made our stay very special with her wonderful smile and cheerful, helpful approach to ensure all our needs were met. The Hotel is right on the pistes and very accessible from the Car Park down in the valley below. You will need to check the Telecabine times if you are arriving or departing early or late. The food was traditional Haute Savoie and very tasty. The restaurant and bar downstairs is very popular throughout the day with skiers. The Ski resort is not very big but there is a good selection of Pistes for all levels but it is the off-piste opportunities that are excellent, especially for people who want to experience going into deeper snow for the first time while staying close to the Pistes. We will definitely come back again.
