My boyfriend and I had stayed for 3 nights in the St.Lucia cabin with jacuzzi on the pond. Definitely worth the money. It was a great experience.
The property is well maintained. Only about 8 cabins so it was never too busy. The space between...More
Very friendly hosts, who are a wealth of knowledge. Ask about anything, they will gladly assist you in any way possible. The highlight had to be the laidback atmosphere because we're from the city. I had to learn to relax once we checked-in. Which by...More
I figured the cabins would be showing signs of years and years of wear and tear but was I surprised...they looked as though they were just refurbished, neat and spotless. It was handy having meals at the lodge since there wasn't too many local restaurants...More
It rained the whole time but there was so much to do! We hiked in the rain through Algonquin Park and loved the tranquility. Enjoyed the kayaks and explored the river that leads to a lovely lake. I caught a beautiful bass in the lake!...More

I am allergic to dogs and cats as well and always worry about this. I take Benadryl along each time just in case, but somehow I've never had to take them while there, my husband is the same. I would be surprised if the pets never get on the furniture as well. Generally when we get there we put the extra blanket from the closet over the loveseat as extra coverage and have been okay! We have also been to the Couples' resort (which would be guaranteed pet free), but we prefer Adventure Lodge by far! You mention your allergy is serious so it is likely more severe than mine, but wanted to share my experience. The floors are all hardwood so that makes a difference too I'm sure. When we are there we're mostly just in the bed and tub anyway and we've been fine :) Wherever you end up, you'll have a great time, it's so beautiful up there! Enjoy!
