Outdated rooms and small but very clean. Not much around to visit but great stop through location to spend the night. Located right off main highway. Has a beach nearby for kids and a great restaurant next door.

Stayed here July1st, 2016. Great location qto explore the park from. The motel is also right beside the Mad Musher restaurant, and close to gas and other amenities in town. The best part is that co-located to the motel is their own breakfast restaurant serving up hearty traditional bacon and eggs and other favourites from 8-10 am. Simple, affordable, friendly,...

Whenever we go to Algonquin Park we stay here. The rooms are clean, quiet and comfortable. The owners are wonderful and its nice to stay in a place with an art gallery attached. They serve a great breakfast and they know the park and surrounding are very well.

Clean, good rooms and a good breakfast. Maybe in need of a little refurbishment but for a group of birdwatchers wanting to access Algonquin Park early in the morning this is an ideal place to spend a couple of nights. Friendly owners and convenient. Very good value for money.

We stayed at the motel due to its proximity the Algonquin Park. The room and facilities were clean but very dated and worn. This was not a complaint for us, it's so those reading this don't expect a modern palace if they choose to stay! It worked well for us on price and location with a comfortable bed, TV, small...

A small motel with very comforatble rooms and great service. The rooms are clean and tidy and the beds comforatble. The motel is close to local amenities and the start of the Park. The breakfast is highly recommened before you leave to discover Algonquin Park.

Basic motel that is very close to the eastgate of Algonquin park. A bit dated, but functioned just fine. We enjoyed our stay. We were in room 7 and this was apparently too far away for wifi to work, that was quite dissapointing. Also a bit pricey for what you get, but I guess you pay for the excellent location.

The hotel is old but is good place to stay near the east gate. The room was very clean and well arranged. The bathroom was also clean but since it is an old establishment so you would find a chipped bathtub or old style shower. There was a small refrigerator in the room. One star less as 1) no microwave...

•Friendly staff interested in making guest's stay enjoyable. •Clean room, freshly painted, newer mattresses, quiet mini-fridge, quality LCD TV •Good simple breakfast ($) Unfortunately I found a tick crawling across the bathroom floor. This is bound to happen this close to the park, I suppose. It was not a result of neglect. A hard surface floor with a solid light...

Stayed in the housekeepers cabin and it was an inexpensive option for a group of four to share, had a little Kitchenett, and you are allowed to have a camp fire. If you want privacy then don't share this between 2 couples as you can hear into the bathroom from the living room / double bed. That didn't bother us...
