On paper this hotel looks convenient and idyllic but in reality it has many flaws. First it claims to be 'ski in, ski out', whereas actually the slopes are several hundred metres up the road and involve carrying skis a considerable distance. Second it is opposite some busy bars and restaurants which create a lot of noise until at least...

Our experience with Hotel Siesta My sister and family were going to Flumserberg in the spring holiday and asked if we would come too. My partner first did not want to, he thought Switzerland was expensive in comparison with Austria and also he had some bad experiences with the Swiss people in the past, but I persuaded him to come....

Rude and aggressive member of staff at the reception - I was verbally abused by her. Later I complained to the local association of the hotellerie services - I've told it was the member of the family of the owner. Quite sad Swiss experience for me. Rooms are classic Swiss - everything you need, clean crisp. Made to feel very welcome and greatly appreciated late checkout as we were both unwell. Breakfast selection delicious and fresh. Thanks hope to be back.

She was quite happy to accept our dog in the room and allowed us to check out late so that she wouldn't have to stay in the car...

We stayed there at the opening of the ski season. The hotel is perfectly located for the snow school and the ski slopes of Tannenbodenalp. The hotel is run by the family and they were unbelievably helpful. Good breakfast too.
