A great place to rest before heading on to Mt Cook for any number of activities. This is a classy place on a budget value. Cabin style accommodation with 4 separate rooms per cabin ... can be a bit noisy but not a serious problem.

After reading some bad reviews I was tentative about our stay. However I was thrilled with everything!!!! The kitchen was huge & separated from the dinning / lounge area. There were 2 ovens with cook tops, 2 microwaves, a boiling hot water tap so no need to boil a billy or kettle. Lots of bench space & general use kitchen... More

We stayed in a dorm like room where it consist 5 double decker beds to occupy maximum 10 pax. The room is clean and tidy with only one small toilet and a heater. Not much facilities provided in the room. Showers, laundry, kitchen are outside of the accommodation about 50m walk. The scenery is magnificent! Blue sky, mountains are everywhere.

Exceptional Location, facility wise was a let down, no dump station (would be great to highlight this when people make booking), 3 BBQ but none of them was working properly or i need to ring the front office to send someone down to help me start the fire for instant. Kitchen was quite complete but cleanliness was a let down.... More

We booked a self-contained cabin for 4 and a basic cabin for 3. The self -contained cabin are of decent size, clean and comfy with good basic cooking facilities however lack hot water for shower. The basic cabin was clean and good for the night and we have no problem with hot shower at the shared bathroom. The view outside... More

We haven't booked any accommodation in Mt Cook upon arriving. Our first option was somewhere in Mt Cook Village but decided to turn back due to bad weather. We walked in Glentanner and stay at a dorm of ~10 beds. Luckily here are no people in the room except only two of us. Great beds, great kitchen, great communal area.... More

The property is located some kilometres away from Mount Cook attractions. The rooms are clean however the Centre lacks atmosphere and things to do (apart from access to nearby helicopter tourist flights) For the cost of a basic room/cabins with thin walls (not too good if your neighbour has their TV on all night) I thought it was a little...
