Such a good find. We set up base for visits to Lavenham and Bury St Edmunds and Maggie directed us to the beautiful nearby Kersey as well. The house and property is lovely, we were well looked after and the breakfast was delicious. Highly recommend!

Hi Kathryn, We are 10 miles from the nearest train station and coming from London, it would be Sudbury. The Sudbury line is the most delightful left over of what trains used to be: a single line track winding its way along the Stour valley to Marks Tey. To reach Sudbury from London you would have to change at Marks Tey and to go to Harwich from Sudbury you would change at Marks Tey. Staying with me is probably not the most convenient, but the peace and quiet when you get here and the train from Marks Tey to Sudbury would probably make the adventure one of the best
