The Devonshire Arms met all expectations and more. Staff were very friendly and most professional. Evening meal and breakfast was excellent and reasonably priced. The pub was so welcoming and the...

I took my family here for my wifes birthday lunch. I was very surprised as I was expecting a pub meal. The staff were very good and the ambience was excellent. They have a very varied menu and everybody was pleased with their choice.

My wife and I and another couple stayed here last week overnight, attracted by the low priced rooms on offer. When we arrived, we found that the bathroom light in our room did not work, so we were immediately upgraded to a room with a four-poster bed at no extra cost. I then checked our bill and noticed that we...

Fantastic afternoon spent in the Devonshire sampling the gin menu. Bar man very happy to mix us up a variety of different concoctions. Super atmosphere and very comfortable surroundings. We didn't try the food as we had already eaten, it what we saw of others peoples plates looked extremely good. A definite return visit is planned.

We have already booked for November for the chatsworth Xmas market we were told about. Room was clean...

Visited here from the Caravan Club site at Chatsworth, This bar just has the right amount of lighting to make it feel warm and friendly as soon as you walk in. We knew it was dog friendly from looking on the internet prior to our visit. Also it doesn't open on a Tuesday in Winter, so hence my last review...

We stayed for just one night during half term. The property is very well situated for a fabulous walk into Chatsworth. The river runs right behind the property and if you follow it you will enter the estate by going over the stone bridge and passing the thatched cottages. Walk first and then you will appreciate the delicious, freshly cooked...

Warm and friendly staff. Room clean. Bed comfy. Some toiletries provided. Breakfast, lots of choice and well cooked. Would happily recommend and definitely worth the money. See you next time we are in the area.
