Lovely place to relax about 2 hours from Jozi and 1 hour from Tswane [Pretoria]. Pros: Plenty of space between accommodations providing an idealistic and tranquil setting. Wake up in the morning and watch the kudu etc. grazing and wandering past. Plenty of room to wander round on walks or cycling. Golf course has fantastic greens and tees - unfortunately... More

We stayed in a large house, suitable for three families. Lovely and quiet, house are well spaced out. You get a sense of privacy and relaxation without hearing in the people in the next house. Kids had a ball in bush. A walk along the golf course was enjoyable. A lovely weekend to switch off and relax with good company.

Quiet and peaceful. Beautiful Golf Course and comfortable home that we stayed in. The stars at night is breathtaking. It's very dry at the moment due to lack of rain. But it still holds beauty. Great place for the family to regroup and have fun. The bonfires at night under the beautiful starlit sky is so peaceful.

The Elements is always a great weekend away, the facilities are great, the bush is great, the drive in hairy unless you have a 4x4 but overall this trip is always worth it. Only a short drive away from JHB this is highly recommended as a weekend away. The house we rented was clean, serviced daily and had all the... More

We stayed in unit 9. The TV was not connected to DSTV for two days and was only connected once we complained, the doors were either stuck or difficult to open. No dishwasher - not an issue, but only one tea towel and one dishcloth! The units were supposed to be serviced, but the unit was only serviced on the... More

I can understand and appreciate the water issues - shame there's not a single drop of water on the course and the fairways seem barren. Greens and t-boxes are in excellent shape, but what really annoyed me was that we paid R120 for 2 coffees and 2 toasted sandwiches served on plastic disposable plates - they don't even give you... We have just returned from our golf holiday in South Africa with our excellent host Nico Els. One of the courses we played was Elements. Stunning views from the clubhouse and what a great course. We got to play the brand new tee on the 9th which has been cut out way above the green. We had a fantastic day... More

We did not stay at the resort, but we went to play golf, and that was very good. They have just created a new teeoff for hole 9, which elevates more than 30 meters, and makes that hole the absolute signature hole on the course. Due to lack of rain the fairways were not very good, but the greens were... More

We had a one night stay over which included a round of golf. Unfortunately the drought has impacted the course in a big way. The greens are still being watered but the fairways are a disaster, but this can't be blamed on the management as water restrictions are in place. I still enjoyed the course. We stayed in self catering... More
