The International Hotel is one of the oldest and the largest hotels in Huzhou. Huzhou is a peaceful small (Chinese small, large being Shanghai) town out of Shanghai. The town is beautiful with great waking streets, peaceful and calm. The Hotel is smack in the middle of town and you can stroll away for everything. THE GOOD. 1. Great hotel... More

Had a walk in stay , courtesy my Chinese friend from Huzhou. The hotel is decent modern property. Had a comfortable stay. The location is also convenient with many options nearby. Concluded few successful business meetings during the stay.☺️ The breakfast needs some more options pf veg food . I think this challenge is faced by vegans every where in... More

I have been here during a business-trip to China. The Hotel was recommended to be one of the best in town. The first Impression underlined this, the reception area as well as the room floors look new and taken-care of. However, entering the room the carpet looked old, the beds do not offer a high sleep Quality. Although the swiiming... More

This aged 4-star hotel is well located at Hongqi road, in the middle of this small city. 10-min walking to the famous Yishang Road and Yintai department store. This hotel was always been the leading one over the past decades. Spacious and clean room with old-fashioned interior design. Well equipped with all basic facilities you need for a business trip.... Central location, you can easy walk to visit city. Room is nice, clean & bright with large window. Lobby is very large and comfortable while waiting here. Breakfast is good with several kind of traditional Chinese cake. I like this hotel.

I stayed at this hotel several years ago and was very disappointed. However, since then the property has been completely redone and is in much better condition. The staff now has English speakers and the rooms are well maintained. The beds are quite comfortable, rooms are clean, and the internet reliable. I had no trouble using a VPN connection for... More

I stayed on the executive floor, the room was clean and well equipped for a for star hotel. The second most important factor - next to cleanliness - is a comprehensive breakfast buffet. Beside typical chinese "delicacies" were also western style dishes, Austrian Jam (Darbo), Bread etc available. Even the coffee was enjoyable. Like in all other chinese Hotels where... More

I stayed at the Huzhou International Hotel for 3 nights in July 2012. In the past, I have stayed at Zhebei Hotel which is about a five minute walk away, and was expecting the same -- local Chinese hotel experience. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the rooms. I stayed on the 17th floor, which is executive floor.... More

Well I am a regular stayer at the Huzhou international Hotel, but never in winter. This was a little different as the heating in the room wasn't fantastic. The hotel is still very clean and central to shops and unlike other hotels in Houzhou and it does not smell apart from the common areas where its ok to smoke. As... More

I have stayed here 3 times. Location is good. Very central for all my meetings. So my suppliers like it. Hotel itself is little more than average. Ask for redecorated room on the higher floors because they are much nicer and have modern fittings. Nothing too flash here but comfortable enough and well situated. Only down side for me is... More

“On the backside of the Hotel is almost no traffic - nights are quiet. They have demolished some houses on this side. Might be that they start with construction of new buildings soon which might lead to noise exposure.”

“Higher floors if your lucky may be a little more quiet, more so if you get a room that doesn't overlook the main street / hospital. Car toot their horns all night long and it was be heard constantly”
