My husband and I had a fun weekend getaway staying at Naked Stables. The round cabin and the spa were terrific. We had a lovely walk among the surrounding tea (cha) plantations. The only caution is that this resort is over-priced. In particular the food is expensive since you are a captive audience for their three restaurants. That said, breakfast...

This place is unique and ideal for a large family or a a mix as we did. Great views over the bamboo forests, attentive and genuine staff. Suggest you BBQ on the balcony - bring your own meat and pick vegetables from the onsite farm. Use the hot tub - awesome!

Naked Stables is merely an hour's drive from Hangzhou, but it contrasts the city's hustle and bustle, almost like a city dweller's backyard retreat! Love the immersion into nature, the landscape, greenery, flora and fauna. The quaint villas nestled in nature is ideal for a quick recharge and escape from the daily city grind. The buffet breakfast was good with...

Naked Stables was hyped up as THE place to for a relaxing weekend away. Very disappointed. went there for a work thing (all companies in China have to have a 'company trip' with all employees) 200 co workers in a resort!! The room (Wild boar 3) was not good! the steps down to the 'bungalow' rotting timber which crumbled as...

why i have the feeling this resort is a cheap copy of Yalong bay Bird Nest Resort on Hainan? Here probably only architects was working no really nice desiger hired? I would say try it once more but without stealing ideas. Much overpriced and unfriendly service. For Chinese probely a nice location but for foreigners is the quality to bad....

We booked their Autumn Harvest package and spent two nights in one of their huts (Boar no.2). Since the resort received many positive reviews among the Shanghai expat community plus the handsome price tag attached, I expected a premium holiday experience. I was rather disappointed. 1. The hut Our hut does not offer much of a view because it is...

if you are a Nature lover and a "Friend of the earth" this place is for you. I see someone review that it is a trek from Shanghai, we clocked it at 3 and a bit hours, which knowing China is not bad, it is a big country. The resort is nestled in the trees and has been built with...

Even the reception guy told us that nobody who goes went again. Everything is good but it is over expensive. A can of coke costs 40 RMB (= 6.5 USD) in their restaurant and one night in their tiny rammed earth cottage for 2 people which looks like some uncivilized cavemen live in there costs 2500 RMB.
