Three of us stayed here in 2 rooms twice in December, 2016 and January 2017. It’s a good value. The rooms are clean, quiet, and the hot water works. At under $20/night, it’s a great value. Located on the main street of Ambositra, it’s in the middle of things, yet quiet. The restaurant has decent food. Some nights there are...

An in town hotel that is down an alleyway so is off the street. We were concerned about noise but was surprisingly quiet. Is a modest small hotel with very small rooms. The two of us could only just get round the bed. No fan but was not hot and was adequate for one night. Our room was painted in...

Small but clean rooms, though the stairs up are at varying heights so watch this. Helpful friendly staff and a nice enough small restaurant. I prefer the block with the rooms named after flowers, they are older style and more interesting. It's a good option if you are in Ambositre.

Rooms vary and most are up stairs, the ones named after flowers are in the older block with wooden stairways and old-fashioned and quite charming decor. Clean and reasonable sized rooms, but plumbing a tad noisy. It's a fun place to stop over en route from Tana south, and they often have live music from local musicians in the restaurant,...

I was in Ambositra for a night and decided to stay at the Mania hotel (incidentally this is related to the name of the province, not its' English meaning!) - the staff were very welcoming, and although small the rooms were clean and comfortable. Hot water from early in the morning, sufficient blankets to keep you warm in the winter...

We unexpectedly had to spend a night in Ambositra, and took a chance with this place because it was close to the taxi-brousse station. Luckily it was suprisingly comfortable. The room was clean, the staff was very helpful and the breakfast good. They also helped us make a reservation for the taxi-brousse for the next day, and arranged for it...

Good central location on the main street but this is a small town. Very close to market. Big rooms, good bathroom. Cheap (£10). No evening food, but hotel was mostly empty so I guess they cut back. Recommend.

We loved this hotel, it is situated in the centre of Ambositra and yet in a very quite, safe location behind a metal door off the street, which leads into a small garden. The hotel consists of 2 buildings with the reception and restaurant in one, which appears to have motel-style rooms with access from the outside (I could be...
