Never visited the Kai Iwi lakes so my husband and I thought we would stay nearby. The lodge is just down the road from the lakes. You have your own private lodge in park like settings secluded and private. Fantastic views of the man made waterways. It has it's own movie theatre gym and spa although sadly the spa was...

This is a beautiful property. We arrived late at night so didn't get to appreciate the beautiful surroundings until the next morning. Was a lovely little lodge on a lake, very clean and tidy with a bbque on the deck. Lovely hosts and beautiful swans to wake up to in the morning. Bed was very comfortable and room had everything...

yes, sometimes our lodge on the lake will not let you on your phone... although we have coverage through out the property, sometimes, because of the building materials, and the providers it just does not happen. Glad it turned out to be not too much of a nausance. As we see, the lake and its surrounds make up for the...

We very much enjoyed our stay at Kai Iwi lakes and came to the consensus that our stay could have been extended. The family agreed that the lakes were beautiful and a hidden gem of northland. The common areas on the property such as the spa, gym and theatre were great and were used often. We had a family unit...

A special place you wouldn't want to miss! Spent Easter weekend here with a group of family friends (yes, 17 of us) and everyone just loved it! The peace and privacy, the fully-equipped lodges, the park-like gardens and to top it all, the most lovely owners who naturally make you feel like family. The kids had wonderful memories here with...

And we loved having you all stay.. such an easy care bunch of people. Yes, it was like waving goodbye to my family when you left. you parents should be proud of the way you raise the kids, they are respectful and a joy to talk to.

We stayed in a 1 bedroom apartment which was most comfortable and comes with a fully fitted kitchen. Great bird spotting from the terrace with views of the pond. The owners made us feel at home and had great tips for things to see in the area. We walked around one of the lakes and had a swim and then...

Stayed 1 night in Lodge 1. Each unit is stand-alone, well designed and private with lovely views over the little lake on the property. Away from it all and very peaceful. Well equipped and comfortable. The stove, dishwasher and utensil drawer could do with an update, but otherwise functional. Flyspray or insect repellant is recommended. Lovely having all the windows...

Wonderful place to just chill out and relax. Lovely view of farm lake. Very close to Kai Iwi lakes. Free wifi, which was very reliable. Lovely hosts who are eager to help. Walks are available around the area. No, there are no keys to the front door, this is the country!

Lovely greeting from Ruby on arrival, who showed us to our room then advised she was out for dinner so would not be around. We arrived during a cold snap, and were given room 3, which had underfloor heating. Unfortunately the room stayed cold until the next morning and no other heating was provided. We were unable to get the...
