Owned and run by a very friendly couple. Comfortable rooms. Character/interesting artefacts. Varied tasty breakfast. When I saw the map I wondered about traffic noise- there was absolutely none. Beautiful garden with birds singing. I’m not that spiritual but there was Zen!
Lunch and dinner not available as it is B&B. Recommend.

My word, we could not have asked for better, more warm, friendly and generous hosts. B and Steven were Top !! Our room was clean, great bed, cosy and warm. Breakfast was like a five star plus hotel, so much to chose from.
Definitely recommendable !!

Hotel was perfect for me. Beautiful pool and room and the hosts were lovely.

The breakfast was perfect start to the day and the hosts went out of their way to ensure a nice stay.

Would definitely stay here again as I visit Sotogrande regularly.

I stayed at La Dulcinea for five nights and had a fantastic time. We arrived to a warm welcome and a cool glass of cava. The pool area was heavenly and our room (we stayed in Bali) was lovely. Clean, tastefully decorated and an amazingly comfortable four poster bed! Breakfast was great too and the location made it easy for us to travel around southern Spain. Would highly recommend. Great value for money.

Came to the area to play Valderrama with my husband and son. La Dulcinea is walking distance to the course and is lovely. The rooms are charming and well decorated. The bed was so comfy. Breakfast was great. B and Steven were welcoming hosts. After golf, they made us lattes. They don’t seem to promote the B&B much, so there are not many reviews, but it is truly fantastic.

What a superb find this was. Amazing property, beautiful rooms and great breakfast. The hosts are so accommodating, you are made to feel so welcome whilst they also give you your own space. I will 100% be back for another stay in future. Can’t recommend enough!

We have just spent two days at La Dulcinea with Steve & Bie.
They are truly exceptional people who put the needs of their guests before anything else.
We had a wonderful evening meal with them prepared by Steve & Bie for our enjoyment.
We were so impressed with the house , beautiful rooms & a lovely pool.
Apparently they also have a house to rent & after seeing photos it looks a fabulous place to rent.
Thanks to you both for everything you did to make our stay so relaxing & enjoyable.
Colin & Audrey

We originally booked for 2 nights but enjoyed the fabulous location of this B&B and the generous hospitality which Bie and Steve have perfected, so much that we changed our plans and added an extra 4 nights. We were made feel very welcome and so at home.
Our hosts were brilliant hosts who went over and above to make our stay a wonderful one

Breakfast was delicious and plentiful, with a considerable selection to choose from. They even catered for gluten free. Bie's pancakes with berries are to die for! One evening we joined the other guests and shared a BBQ which was a banquet prepared by Steve & Bie, what a wonderful evening it was.

The house has lots of character and is beautifully furnished. Our room was spacious and immaculately clean. Towels were provided for washing/showering/bathing and also for the pool. Our room looked out onto the very private, beautiful garden, sun loungers and swimming pool. There is a covered outdoor dining room (heated if it's cool) and cushioned furniture where you can enjoy the surroundings with a drink of your choice. La Dulcinea is in a great location and only 14 minutes to Gibraltar border. This B&B excels many 4* hotels we have stayed in and we would definitely recommend it to anyone who is looking for a hidden gem. Thank you Bie & Steve for your warmth & hospitality. See you again in October

What a story and start to our break , we were part of a golf competition that was at hotel almenara 7 days over new year , we checked in but was unhappy with room 1, 2 and 3 then at room 4 we thought it was the best of what we was offered,we felt cold and damp and decided to put heating on and play golf And hoped all was ok but then,,,,,, returned to a damp room and could not bear the thought of it so sat on bed with I pad and looked for alternative Accom after 10 minutes I realised the bed and sheets were more than damp but wet and no way was Were we staying here
We found the above and decided to drive to it but when arrived and called at the gate they said they were closed for the festive season but. A friend maybe able to help they invited us in to their home for a glass or 2 of wine and met their dogs too a few moments later they showed a room for 90 euros a night warm clean super double that was superior to the hotel
Hospitality second to none Stephen and Bie are great hostess and make you feel part of their family - breakfast is lovely and can't accommodate you enough - I also need the recipe for Stephens homemade pancakes delicious yum yum
Thank you so much your hospitality it was awesome and lovely- you will always be remembered for taking us in and looking after us - you turned a holiday disaster into a holiday and break to remember and your labs were awesome too - thank you we are humble and thankful ❤❤❤
