We stayed three nights at this delightful B & B in Boolteens, Castlemaine, Co. Kerry, Ireland. From the immaculate room with a wonderful view right out our window of the lush green farmlands and the Slieve Mish Mountains, to the outstanding breakfast with perfectly cooked farm-fresh eggs, fresh fruits and home-made scones, REAL well-brewed coffee (not always easy to get... We needed somewhere to accommodate twelve people, we were very happy with the rooms, they were clean and comfortable. The owners were very friendly and looked after us very well. Everybody enjoyed our stay.

Like being and grandma's house. The proprietors keep a clean and comfortable home for their guests. There is complementary breakfast and a neat who/what/where/how guide book in the room. Very cozy with heating pads on each bed. The towels, beds, and room china are refreshed each day. A bit off the beaten path to Kilarney, Tralee, and Dingle but not... More

While this wasn't our favorite B&B in Ireland it was nice. The woman who greeted us on arrival was a little gruff, not very welcoming at all. But, in the morning the two younger women were very friendly. The bed was comfortable and breakfast was good.

The Farmhouse is out of the way a bit when you go to find it but well worth it when you do. The rooms and beds are comfortable, the family works hard. Full Irish Breakfast is done well, 3 different meats, toast, eggs, potatoes and tomato. There are an assortment of cereals, cheese and fruit. This is a very good... More

We were three hikers and wanted to spend a few days exploring Dingle and the neighboring countryside/area. We had a wonderful visit to Murphy's. The accommodations were very good and we enjoyed a delicious Irish breakfast each morning. It was a good location with quiet evenings - would recommend.

A most enjoyable stay. I enjoyed a lovely walk to the wee village and a peaceful stroll in the morning down the lane to see the cattle. Very peaceful and relaxing. Although the lower level hall is narrow, the rooms are spacious and the beds comfortable. WiFi did not work in our room but was accessible in the living room.... More

My husband and I stayed at Murphy's Farmhouse for one night. I wish we could have stayed longer. Murphy's Farmhouse is a lovely place on the edge of the DIngle Penninsula. We were a bit late getting there, but we were greeted warmly. Our room was very clean and comfortable and the bed was great. Breakfast was simply yummy with... More

Very disappointed. It was so different from the reviews I read on the B& B Ireland website. Our room was very small looking with ugly roof. It was noisy and smelly with dripping the water from rubber hose. The rubbish tin in the bathroom was not clean from the previous guests and the quilt cover was full of somebody's hair!... More

Upon our arrival, we were greeted with the most adorable calves in the front pasture of this working family farm and bed & breakfast. We were shown our room which was clean & comfortable with the most incredible views of the sunset over the rolling pastures. Breakfast was fresh, locally sourced, made to order Irish breakfast and delicious. The Murphy... More
