The one thing that stood out for me was thatI had a true experience of the Kavango traditional culture. It have me ideas about incorporating some items in my home like the dishes and decor. Didn't like the noise at the beach. And the cats....

Can only say something about the food, as we had lunch here on our way. the menu is really nice, and gives plenty options. Unfortunately some things were finished, but I ate a croc salad and my wife a quiche, they were both delicious. It takes around 30min for them to prepare. Baobab ice was also finished:(. overall: recommended!

My Namibian colleague recommended this place. The food alone (grilled tilapia with pap!) is worth staying here. Their menus provide an amazing education on local ingredients and traditional foods. Very unique. Other bonuses: green oasis, scent of gardenia, proximity to the 'beach'. Not so great: wifi only available in 3 meter square area adjacent to reception. You're by the river...

Standard room was clean and spacious with a good and large bed. Bathroom with bath and separate shower was very big although was poorly lit. There is a restaurant with good and local African food, the setting not so romantic as there were large television screens with TV shows on it.

Tambuti Lodge in Rundu is a very fine place to stay when visiting Rundu. The lodge has a beautiful garden and very luxurious and spacious cottages to stay in. Staff was really friendly and helpful and they decorated our room upon arrival, since we told them it was our honeymoon. However, we do recommend to have dinner somewhere else, since...

The location was stunning, just by the beach. The basic rooms are pretty simple but the little terraces in front of them attractive and some of the bigger rooms are quite special. The staff was very accommodating and the views were absolutely breathtaking. It is in a great location and the food at their restaurant is very good. Dear Madison, thanks for your visit, to our part of the world just for correction the road you mentioned is NOT part of Tambuti entrance at all, but part of the town of Rundu leading to the river, on which other government offices are sharing, it's also only a 100m track under repair.. as the main water pipe for Rundu...

Staff was professional and very helpful. The rooms are great, clean and well appointed. Our arrival was celebrated by one of the most significant storms I have witnessed in a very long time, which "dowsed" the party at Rundu Beach and offered us with incredible tranquillity. Great place to stay when in Rundu!
