I have read the other reviews for October and agree with them and all the good points mentioned. A 10 min walk to the beach, 5 mins to 'the strip', (1/2 mile of bars, shops and play areas for children.) However as we were at the end of the season 50% of these were closed. Bus stop also on the...

I'm writing this on the last day of our visit to the Bitzaro Palace. We've had a brilliant week in Kalamaki. I cannot fault the hotel at all. We have a room on the top floor. No pool view but that hasn't been a problem. It's been really quiet. The room is one of, if not THE, nicest we've had...

The Bitzaro Palace Hotel in Kalamaki, Zakynthos is a little gem of a hotel hidden 5 minutes from the main strip of Kalamaki. The hotel has less than 90 rooms and is a very friendly place. We have just returned from 2 fabulous weeks there. The guests were mainly British, Dutch, Finnish and Belgium. When we were there the clientel...

I normally write a review upon our return, but this holiday is so fantastic,I thought I would submit an interim report. The hotel is very clean, the room is very comfortable, the food is fantastic(the standard and choice has been exceptional) and all staff are so friendly and helpful. It is difficult to name specific people, because everyone is great......but Anna and Helen in...

This is a nice hotel situated in a good quiet spot near to the beach, the strip and the bus stop. The check in took longer than we expected because Sophie had to deal with about 40 people on her own although she did her best to speed things up. You do not need this when you have been travelling...

We went here to escape the so-called British summer. A very friendly welcome, our room was outstanding. Looking over the pool, generously sized, and very comfortable. The food here is to die for! Stuffed quail, a Cauvery once a week, also a Greek grill every week. You'd be hard put to go hungry here. A special mention to the hard...

We stayed in the hotel for a short vacation at the end of the season. The hotel is not located direct at the beach or in the center of the city. Both are on walking distance but not very interesting to visit. If you stay in this hotel you should need some kind of transport. The hotel is not located...

Just returned from 2 weeks in Zante, at this hotel. Staff and food first class. Nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff. The food was always freshly prepared and a good choice. The hotel was busy, but not full. Some days there were few sunbeds and when there was entertainment in the evenings it was difficult to...

Loved everything about this hotel- location, food, staff. Would definitely return again. Never any problem getting sun loungers at the pool and only 5 minutes walk from the beach. The all inclusive us great, there was always plenty of choice and the menu changed every day.

Stayed for a week at end of September. Food excellent and plenty of choice. All drinks good apart from the wine. Didn't stay around the hotel much during the day as preferred the beach but the pool area was very nice with plenty of sun beds although you might have to settle for one on the grass area in high...
