Everything was great here, we love an island, ocean, hotel, staff, food.. Really nothing to complain about! If we need something, staff was always very friendly. Food in restaurants was great. When our plane was delayed, it was no problem to stay longer in hotel. It was a very nice holiday here!

Excellent hotel, we loved purchasing stay so much we are booking again for next year. Rooms were really clean comfy beds and fresh sheets. Towels changed whenever you wished. Air-conditioning was great, cute balcony with sea view. The food was lovely, fresh fish, chicken and meat daily, fresh pastries, cakes, bread and fruit. Salad bar was great, lots of pasta dishes, rice and various other dishes. Catering for just about everyone. The hotel staff and hospitality was above and beyond. All very friendly, worked so hard. Our only negative was they need more staff, we felt for some of them, especially bar staff. One bar staff is not enough. It didn't affect our stay one bit, but we felt sorry for them working so hard and people were queuing for drinks. We can't wait to go back next year.…

Stayed there 4 years ago and it looks like there has been no money spent on it. Pool area has loads broken tiles and not cleaned well. Rooms are dated and have the odd issue. Food and drink are good. Waiting times at bars are terrible with one staff serving and no self serving pumps.

Got back last night after a 7 night stay and what a fantastic holiday it was!! Travelled with my husband, parents and 3 children ages 17, 13 & 11. Checked in with Andy at reception who was very welcoming and gave us a handy map, highlighting every part we needed to know. Then arranged for Jero to pick us up in buggy and take us to our room. He took my patents and son to their room first then came back for us, stopping outside our parents room to show us where it was. Very chatty and gave us a great first impression! The animation team... WOW! They really made the holiday for us! Always making sure there is something going on keeping both adults and kids entertained with games, cocktail making, foam party's etc as well as providing entertainment shows during the evening... they are all fantastic but special shout outs go to Jessy, Timi, Paulina and Carly. My 13 year old daughter absolutely loved them and on our last day they let her perform their daily dance routine with them. Thank you Paulina and Carly! The pool bar is a fab atmosphere with both a heated and cold side. Barman Carmelo is amazing! There are different areas of entertainment going on at night, our favourite was the outside seating area next to the Theatre. Thankyou to Daniel the bar man who got to know us and started pouring our drinks before we even got to the bar. Big, massive, huge shout out to Alex who when he found out we were there for my husbands 40th Birthday, kept singing happy birthday to him and approached us daily making sure we were having a good holiday. Always smiling and very welcoming! Ruben (who is actually due to leave) and his collegue Andrei - the photographers - are worth their weight in gold! They are absolutley brilliant at what they do and captured each of our photos beautifully! They're very reasonably priced too! And our photo shoot was brilliantly fun! The food can be quite repetitive for fussy eaters, but it is very nice and we never once went hungry... I've actually never known my kids eat so much and that does include my fussy eater! The rooms are very clean and the Housekeepers are very polite and friendly, leaving my husband a bottle of champagne and some sweets both on the day we checked in and again on his birthday. This was the fourth time I have stayed at the hotel in the last 3 years. I was very happy to come back because the service provided by the hotel was excellent. Unfortunately, this year was not quite the same. The food and service in the restaurant was not nearly as good as in previous years. The restaurant was quite smelly and the scrambled eggs, for example, must have been spoiled. In previous years we were always led to our table by the wait staff, this year this was not the case and at times we found ourselves wandering around the restaurant looking for an available table. Another annoying thing was the little bugs in the room. It was impossible to leave anything loose on the table without being surrounded by these bugs within moments. The last thing I would mention is the occupancy of the loungers by the pool. There is a big sign that says no loungers are allowed to be occupied without someone lying there, but in the early hours of the morning, often while it was still dark, hotel guests were moving loungers and putting towels in, often without appearing at the pool until lunchtime. If the hotel doesn't have anyone to check this, or the rules have changed, they should at least post a sign forbidding it :-) In conclusion, apart from these little things, we were happy at the hotel and will probably go back again next year as the hotel is in a beautiful setting, close to a wonderful big beach and we just love Fuerteventura. …

Stayed here early September. We had been before on all-inclusive. This time, we booked all-inclusive plus. This entitled you to some extras . Tea making facilties, robes and a mini bar . Also, a free safe . Outside the room, you have a separate area to dine in where you are personally waited on . Branded drinks and a selection of different beers are included. Oh, and two ala carte dining experiences . Whatever you choose the staff will look after you well. Food generally was good . Yes, it can be repetive, but that's buffets. Quality wise, it was good . Some theme nights were also included. Drinks . The plus package entitled us to premium drinks, so we certainly drank well. Having said that, the standard beer is cruzcampo. The wines in the restaurant are all by the bottle and all taste nice. Whatever level you choose will be fine. WiFi . It was difficult to access and maintain. Wasn't too bothered. I had good network coverage of my own. Snack bar. Located near the pool providing perfectly acceptable burgers , hot dogs , piazza, etc . Makes a nice change from the main restaurant. Animation/entertainment. The team had some new members and looked to be in transition week one . The new staff intergrated quickly and provided good entertainment. Daytime usual pool games, darts, etc . And some evening shows which they performed in . Nice shows . When the animation team is not on evening duty, they have professional shows . Some are better than the others and come down to preference, but there is always something going on . Must mention Paulina, who seemed to always be there . Her energy levels and enthusiasm were amazing . Mention also for Antonio, Jan, Jessica, and Carly, the singer. Thanks, guys . Staff generally were fantastic. Pablo, Juan, and carmello will supply your drinks with smiles, a bit of comedy thrown in . And a big thankyou to Cassandra, who looked after us at breakfast and to Jarek, who looked after us lunch and dinner. The service provided by these guys was first class . Overall good experience though the rooms and bathrooms require some maintenance or a refurb. Mattresses are soft so not to everyone's preference. All inclusive does not include all drinks and proper cocktails, cheap alternative and vendor cocktails.....you need to upgrade to all inclusive plus at an extra £60/pp/night. Advise to download the Barcelo app as some services are only available at request otherwise they are not provided......a cost cutting exercise. Prepare to queue for evening drinks as a lack of bar staff

Booked with Jet2 wanted Jandia beach. Filtered on adults only best for spa and relaxation. 1 week £2300. Arrived late. Plated salad in room which was a nice touch. All downhill from there. Food limited. Toilets without paper, waited an hour for a maintenance visit they said would be there in 10 mins then gave up and cancelled. WiFi crap. Staff all lovely except for the "Royal" reception person who was unfriendly. Loud music from the main hotel. Nice pools but broken tiles, peeling paintwork and they lied about the walk to the beach it is a gruelling steep hill and a long way. The local shop never had change and wanted card payments. Late checkout not available but our pick up was 17:40. If you book Royal expect to walk through the 2000 room rest of the complex to get to the beach, the spa or the tennis court. Unsuitable for anyone with mobility issues. Not quiet and not as described. Over priced and totally underwhelming.…

Amazing views from sea view room. Lots of slopes & stairs so think about this if you have joint problems. Typical all inclusive buffet food but we always found something. Staff friendly & helpful. Rooms cleaned daily. Shuttle bus is a great idea into town. Wi-fi not great for me & I couldn’t even use my mobile data but husband had no issues. If not royal level, no prosecco without payment & cocktails are pre-mixed but that wasn’t a deal breaker. Beach towel hire & lounger hire on beach very reasonable. We paid for a safe but I’d rather do this than lose valuables. Recommend booking A La Carte one night. Love the self serve wine, soft drinks & beer in the restaurant.

It was OK, flies were a nuisance on the food, we had upset tummy after a few days, beds not so comfortable. Fridge hanging off the wall ! Its on a hill so woulsnt advise anyone with any disabilities . Wouldn't stay here again.
