If you were going for longer, I would split your stay. As you're not, I think it comes down to what your priorities are. If you want to spend most of your time on the beach, it is beautiful, unspoiled but fairly remote. Access to it other than through the hotels is only by walking from the town beach. We opted to stay at Refugio, which gives you more of a feel for the place and you are with the local people. We spent time on the local beach which was lively, vibrant but definitely not as beautiful in the traditional sense. You can walk along the beach to the beautiful part. It takes about 30 minutes. It has a feel of being owned by the hotels, although is not.
