My partner booked this hotel as I had missed Valentines as I was away working in Spain. My partner checked us in while I dealt with the bags and she was told that we would not be staying in the main house due to a wedding party taking over and we would be in the Firs annexe. First Strike So,...

It was only by chance we came across our Wedding Venue, thanks to a De Vere mail-shot (prompted by an ill fated & under-utilised gym membership) Luckily our memories of Highfield Park will last longer! On our first visit we were warmly welcomed by Sarah & Louise, Wedding Co-ordinators who by virtue of their friendliness, were relaxed enough to let...

We booked our wedding at Highfield and had the most amazing day. The grounds are beautiful - although we couldn't use them as too wet, nonetheless they were stunning. There is a sunroom/conservatory which means you can enjoy the room from inside. The inner rooms are gorgeous and we have some beautiful wedding photos. We had the most wonderful day...

Nice welcome, but no obvious lift for someone with knee problems, so lots of stairs to a small double room. Bedside reading lights, one with no switch too high to switch on/off without getting out of bed. Bedside lamp didn't work, bed up in a corner so could only get in and out on one side. TV, no menu system,...

The Hotel is situated in a quiet estate and easy/quick to get to off the M4. Staff are helpful and accomodating. The rooms were pleasant enough down the drive in Fir Tree, although they are small. The TV didn't seem to have a menu guide for channels, so it was hard to navigate, wi-fi a bit hit & miss and...

Stayed Highfield Park for my Wife's Company Christmas Party. Not our first visit to the venue but I think our best, although saying that, a lot of that was down to the planning and organizing of the function. Which goes to the credit of Nikki and Graham. But the Evening food was very good and the staff were great. Breakfast...

I've been here three times and stayed in just about every type of room. Previous reviews are spot on about fir tree court. It is not that bad but not that good either. There is a maximum of three steps from bed to bathroom door. The main hotel is fine but really noisy at night and the rooms are too...

The only reason I have rated this hotel 2* and not a 1* is for the staff, who we found to be very helpful and friendly. Dear Guest, Thank-you very much for your lovely comments about my team, I will ensure this is shared with them.
