Rated 9.6 out of 10 for good reason. Quite location even though located on Main Street. Daphne, Pat and Patric we perfect hosts. Very comfortable room and the beds like home. Big shower and instant hot water a treat after a long day.

Daphne is a great hostess, excellent cook, and has put her heart and soul into running this gem of a b&b. You can tell by the amenities and the time and care picking out lovely decoration that Daphne runs one of the best b&bs in Ireland. The room we had was very large, and if you're like me, having a...

I cannot recommend a visit to this B&B strongly enough! So delighted and feel very well rested after mid week stay there. We paid €30pp per night and I felt it was fantastic value for money. You will have no regrets if you book to stay here. Our room was gorgeous, with the most comfortable beds and beautiful sheets. We...

We stayed here for a night with two children. Halloween weekend is a great weekend in Rathdrum. Our room was fabulous. Very spacious , warm and spotlessly clean. Decor was like a five star hotel . Breakfast the next morning was all homemade and worthy of the four seasons....... From waffles, to home made fluffy blueberry pancakes with very generous...

Daphne gives a warm welcome and is very good indeed at what she does. The rooms are well-presented. The bathroom smelled a little of bleach but that was evidence of the immensely clean environment. Breakfast (light and fluffy homemade blueberry and hazelnut pancakes with maple syrup and cream) was very naughty but a great set-up for the day.Daphne gave advice...

Not much I can add to the already glowing reports other than to ditto the comments! We stayed in almost 20 different BandBs during a month long trip to Ireland and this was among the most charming. Although there was only two of us, we were given a room with 3 beds (felt like goldilocks!) in a large room facing...

We are a family with two young children. In July 2016 we stayed in this bed & breakfast for 3 nights. The b&b is situated in the centre of Rathdrum, and ideal to visit places like Glendalough, the military road an the coast (e.g. Brittas Bay). It has nice and quiet rooms (no luxury) and a great breakfast. But above...

This is really the best place to stay in this area. The hospitality is grand and the daily breakfast is superb and cooked to order. It is apparent that the owners take great pride in their B&B. The decor for each room is unique and comfortable and it is clear that care has been taken in each choice of decoration....
