Fun and spacious rooms for large travel groups A boutique hotel for fun-loving travellers. Find quirky and playful decor in minimalist rooms designed to comfortably accommodate a party of two (Kings/ Theme Park Hotel Suite), four (Quads) or six (Sixers). The hotel is located at the doorsteps of the Arena of Stars and SkyAvenue, the resort’s latest lifestyle mall.
Amazing amazing amazing. Had a one night stay only. Best hotel ever. Location is opposite Sky Avenue, meaning I can see all the activities from the hotel including cable car view. Super Wi-Fi. No breakfast but all restaurants are few steps far. I got one room fit 6 people. Room is a big fun mainly for kids. No cupboard but draw on wall, light wire as well. Hotel lobby is a little theme park. Highly recommended.

While low frills, it is a pleasant stay with good views (mountain view room). It is a simple upgrade compared to first world. Need an improvement on accessibility for wheelchair. The staff are very helpful to open the gate but it also create a safety issue for staff and customers as a need to cross the road.

My last visit to Genting was probably 15 years ago and my visit to this mountain is a pleasant cooling trip. Genting Skyworlds Hotel was my choice for this trip along with my friends and we have book the room for 6 persons It came with 2 queen beds and a queen bunk bed and it was comfortable for all of us ( 6 people ) Room was cooling once u open the windows and you can see clouds drifting in and out along with the cooling air Room came with basic amenities for 6 paxs , slippers, towels , bath soap, drinking bottle water Bathroom was designed with care, it came with 2 wash sink, separate bathroom & toilet. Room has ample space and we had no problem walking or sitting in the room

Room is new but I experienced itchiness when sleeping on the bed. Despite booking a quad bed but still the itch, is it caused by dust mites? I'm not sure but sure kept me awake all night. The connectivity is also an issue, you only have access from Genting Skyworlds Theme Park via the link bridge and the carpark there is none except sharing with resort world.

I had early check in as early as 6am. I need to pay extra RM26 included tax, which is reasonable as I was having a long bus journey. The website showed charges of early check in. Very glad that the rooms wasn't full occupied. The room was amazing but sad that the drape makes me couldn't sleep longer after sunrise. It looks like those office drapes. The doesn't have air conditioner but They have 1 small fan attach to the ceiling. The room was quite small but at least its newer than 1st world hotel and bigger in size too. For housekeeping side they are slower in service but it was acceptable. My friend mention that the staff in the entire Genting property was not happy with their work. Their impression gave us that the guest owe them money. The unhappy face. Since the hotel room was not included with breakfast we hunt down all possible restaurant that serves breakfast. There are a few restaurants opens at 7am. Genting Skyworld Hotel also give some discount for certain restaurant which is excellent. An excellent point is they provide free vitamins soluble tablets for all in-house guest in the reception desk. …

If u stay during the cold season, this hotel would be perfect as u just open the windows and have a ceiling fan. But if u stay during the hotter season and are used to colder temperatures, don't stay at this hotel as there's no aircon. 3 stars for bunkbed and 3 queen sized beds in a room. Basic amenities. Closest hotel to the theme park.

Soon to be bad experience. Unfortunately me and my wife are able to make it due to a medical procedure. However the booking with a group of friends was made in my name as lead guest. But guess what. They are unable to change the lead guest name to my friend even though I have already made full payment. What’s even worst. Though they request that I write a authorization letter, they even ask me to provide my identify card or passport copy. Wow isn’t this like kinda ridiculous for a hospitality company?

Extremely unhelpful staff. The rooms are ridiculous. Only meant for children. No privacy in bathroom. As commercial as a place can get. Do not want to accommodate guests for anything. Just care about their money which is sad. The only thing decent about the place was the location.

Allow me to give you my perspective. I have stayed at the First World Hotel during 2 earlier visits to Genting Highlands and that hotel is a complete disaster! Therefore, when I booked this hotel several months prior to this visit, I was a bit apprehensive. However, my fears were put to rest when I entered my designated room at this hotel. First of all, checking-in for this hotel is also done on an automated kiosk in the main lobby. IMPORTANT NOTE: Check-in time for ALL the Genting hotels & Resorts is 3pm each day. If you arrive earlier than 3pm and wish to check-in immediately, you will be charged an early check-in fee. After you have checked in and obtained your key card to your room, you will have to embark on an adventure to search for your room! There are a few hundred rooms spread out across 3 blocks and 7 floors in this hotel. Similar to the dreadful First World Hotel, this hotel also doesn't employ ushers to bring guests to their rooms. In fact, when you arrive in your car or taxi at the front porch of this hotel, there aren't any bellboys to help you bring your luggage into the lobby. My room, 3957, is located in another block connected by a long walkway. Strangely, the room numbers of this hotel are painted on the floor in front of each door! Therefore, please remember to look down at the floor while you are hunting for your room. Here, you will see many new guests wandering around the endless, confusing corridors which resemble a maze with lots of dead corners, searching high & low for their rooms. Perseverance and patience is needed for this adventure, do not give up, for you will eventually succeed in finding what you seek! My room was a Quad room, meant for 4 guests. On this occasion, I traveled here with my uncle from Australia. There are 2 queen-sized mattresses in the room, the room is very spacious, with some basic amenities like an electric kettle, a television, a ceiling fan(No air-conditioner in the rooms), an empty mini bar, a telephone, a few clothes hangers on some decorative clothes hooks on the wall. there are no wardrobes or cupboards. The mattresses sit on a slightly raised timber platform which has a bit of storage space for your luggage and miscellaneous items underneath the platform. The digital safe is also located under this platform. To my surprise, i found 4 pairs of bedroom slippers, provided by the hotel, under the platform! I didn't expect any bedroom slippers in a hotel room of this price range. I paid RM328 per night for this room. I checked in on a Friday and checked out on a Saturday. My room is at the back of the block, the view my window is of a drain and the back portion of the hotel building. This room is very quiet all day and all night. The bathroom consisted of separate shower and toilet cubicles, with a washbasin outside of the cubicles. as for toiletries, they provide 2 tubes of shampoo, 2 tubes of hair conditioner and 2 tubes of bath gel. There isn't any bath soap. They provide 4 bath towels but no hand towels or face towels. None of the rooms here come with any complimentary buffet breakfast. Food is not a problem here because the Sky Avenue Shopping Mall located nearby has lots of restaurants and eateries. This hotel attracts lots of families with young children because they come here to visit the Skyworlds theme Park located directly opposite this hotel. Checking out is as easy as dropping your keycard into a wall-mounted metal box. IMPORTANT NOTE: To get to the Skyworlds Theme Park from this hotel, you are NOT allowed to walk across the road due to the high volume of vehicular traffic in front of the hotel. You have to use the covered elevated walkway which is accessed by going up 1 floor via an escalator in the hotel lobby. The walkway protects pedestrians from the rain and cold weather, as well as the busy traffic below. On the other end of the walkway, a set of escalators will take you down to the ground level, near to the main entrance of the theme park. You also use this way to get to the Sky Avenue shopping mall, Arena of Stars Theatre and the Sky Casino. If you reduce your expectations, you will not be disappointed. Safe Travels always! …

The Hotel is great for family with kiddos. The mattresses are on a platform to prevent falls and there is no wardrobe but storage space is below the platform bed. The bath and toilet are separated which is ideal for family. To get to the hotel from the main mall, you have to take a short walk outdoor, cut through the Theme Park entrance. What happens if the weather is rainy?
