Colleagues and I were there for a 3D2N stay and event within the hotel and its been a most pleasant experience. From receiving a warm reception at check in by the front office team led by FOM Suresh, to having clean rooms and sheets daily, and not forgetting the good food served during the simple breakfast buffet to coffee breaks between our event's sessions. All the staff were very warm and helpful. The only inconvenience is that the bathrooms do not have any locks so it might be a good idea to consider taking individual rooms if you're staying with non-family members. You need to have a car also since the hotel is located right inside IBN city and the nearest eatery is about 5 mins drive out. You can walk during the day but it is dark at night. Going uphill to all the sight-seeing locations is about very near and Grab is available too. Nice place to stay for holidays or even business, away from the hustle and bustle of Genting as a tourist area.

My friends and I went for a holiday to Genting and were happy to find a place which was affordable for us students. I read all the reviews beforehand to make sure that was no previous complaints regarding haunting - a rather common occurrence in Genting Highlands.

We stayed in Room 318 for one night excited to unwind after a heavy day at the theme park, Genting Skyworlds, which was around 30 minutes away since the hotel is situated lower down in Genting Highlands.

The room was clean, the staff were rather friendly, even the hotel on its own looked bright and colourful. It has a shared basement parking, and walking up to the lift, the lot was a bit dirty, and murky but all okay.

We checked in and went into our room. Upon taking a heated shower, we realised that the Air Conditioning wasn’t working, 18 degrees and we still felt really hot. In Genting Highlands…

Once we turned off the lights we realised that either the walls were really thin or there was something in the walls… we heard people walking in and out of rooms, loud knocking on our doors, and shifting of furniture in the above room. We had no peep hole and when opening the door to check, there was nobody in the hallway.

At around 10 pm the knocking got louder and we started hearing hysterical laughter from a woman in the room above us. It was rather loud and clear. We shrugged it off hoping that it was just another guest.

The knocking didn’t stop until around 12am that night. And the noises kept on going throughout the night. We were terrified and found it difficult to sleep, especially since hearing voices as well.

In the morning however, we woke up and went downstairs to a tasty buffet breakfast, featuring an Asian cuisine which was refreshing, after having eaten burgers that day prior.

I won’t be going back here, especially since the experience that night was really unsettling and not worth a second stay. This is a review unlike a lot of the aforementioned ones, which got me really confused.

Nevertheless, the room was comfortable aside from the aircon, and good food was served. Staff were friendly as well.

I seriously hope someone was staying above us.

The hotel is situated further in Genting Midhill. You will definitely need a car to access this hotel.

Parking is available in the hotel, however do note that it is shared with the apartment residents located beside hotel. No clear demarcation though, we were told by the security to shift our car over to their side as the other part of the parking lots are for apartments’ residents.

Checking in and out may take up sometime especially during peak period. Please plan ahead in case you need to rush off.

We booked the hotel though Agoda and requested for inter-connecting room, however this was not fulfilled. It may be best for you to call the hotel for special requests, I tried to email but no reply.

Hotel rooms are comfortable, view will depend on which room you are given.

Hotel breakfast is divided into 3 slots, 0730am, 0830am and lastly 0930am, hotel staff will check with you upon checking on the time slot you will preferred. Do remember to bring along your hotel key card holder (with your room number written) on your way down for breakfast. We will not told upon checking in that we had to bring it along. First day was alright, the staff let us in when we told them our room numbers, 2nd day the staff asked why we did not bring the key card holder and explained that we will supposed to bring along, however he still let us in.

The spread of breakfast fairly alright, the usual nasi lemak, noodles, porridge, bread etc. Peak period can be challenging to find spoon, fork, plates and coffee runs out pretty fast.

Overall will recommend this hotel if you preferred to be away from crowd and desire a quiet environment to recharge.

Stayed at Scapes for 3D2N. The room is big and comfortable. The parking area is big and parking is free. The breakfast on the 1st Day have to make reservation because of social distancing or what i don't know. Other facilities i not using like swimming pool or gym but i the swimming pool is share with the residences. The lift is convenient because from cark park you can direct to the room. Only the location because you have to go deeper to find the hotel. I will come again if i come to Genting.

New rooms, very good and clean experience.
Ample car park available.

Don't take the room facing the road, due to the long stretch of road, the motors and cars tend to press the pedal and revv.

Breakfast was good, and area was very spacious and open.

Swimming is clean and very nice for children. The bad thing about the quad room is the toilet transparency film where its partially see thru. If u stay in the quad room with your friends.. They can see u semi , so beware.

The hotel is endowed with new facilities, the rooms are comfortable and the hotel is situated in a quiet vicinity.

For travellers who are not driving, Getting transport such as taxi and grab may be challenging. Most of the grab drivers don’t stay in genting. They prefer to bring passengers to genting resort and make a return trip to where they came from. If travellers are looking for transport within genting, very difficult. You may need to hire your own driver during your stay

The hotel is near to a food street sky city food street besides. 5 min walk away. The nearest vicinity is bukit permai which is 5 min drive away and 30 minute by foot.

Nice hotel with spacious room but need more careful about bed linens . It’s seem like duvet cover not change as they just tightly tuck the duvet cover under the mattress to ensure no crumple . Actually we can see from the smell and lines also we can see from the torch light . Room still found a lot of dust from all the corner and window area .

We did call front office to ask Housekeeping to change the cover BUT sadly no response. Shower room a lot grouting and the the glass tinted obviously can see the shadow from the bed area if we on the bathroom light 😂.
Breakfast so so only and the coffee house staff very helpful and friendly.

Beautiful new hotel at genting permai. The weather is not very cold like at the top of Genting Highlands but pleasant enough. The hotel is surrounded by a green canopy of rain forest. The staff is very helpful. Breakfast spread is pretty standard with nice selection. You must have own transport for meals as it is not near any shop outlets. The swimming pool is very spacious but you will have to share with other occupant from Midhills condominium.

This is a newly hotel. The location is outskirt from others. If you’re lucky, you can get a room with a forest hill view. So breathtaking! Mine is a room facing apartment, pool view. The room is clean, newly equipped electronics. Water heater functioning well.

If you are staying here, be prepared with instant food and snacks. Room service closed it service at 10.30pm. So sad, i have to wait for AM breakfast.

Washroom/toilet - the door is not locked. Be careful for your privacy.

The things that can be removed is the stinky smell at the parking, the lift. So smelly until headache. Not sure why the air flow is very bad.

Parking - free.
Lemon3 breakfast - not so much food choices but most of the food served is delicious.
Budget friendly and I will repeat it.

Really adore this hotel that gives me peace and quiet so I can rejuvenate after stressful year of covid. I enjoyed the weather, the breakfast and the quick access to Genting Highland. I spent 3 days here, and went jogging around, the view is spectacular... I even thought of buying a unit here so I can come here to rest my head. I love the small of the body shampoo... may I purchase some for own use?
