The Yanné, Onsen Hotel is the first hot-spring-themed hotel in South East Asia perched at the mountain peak, some 6,000 feet above sea level. The multi-featured hot-spring pools retained freshly precipitated water from the highlands runoff and rock water recharge. Hence, the hot springs are rich in mountain minerals. The Yanné Onsen is a Konyoku (混浴) mixed-gender bath with swimwear concept. Our guests can request for “kashikiri” (貸切) bath, which is a public bath rented out privately, and we will reserve the kashikiri onsens for you to enjoy as a family or within your social group (min. 8 pax).

Very clean room and friendly staff. Decided to stay here because of the location. And also this hotel has a wide range of amenities eg swimming pool, gym, parking and Onsen.

The room was larger compared to other hotels in Genting Highlands. Staff were very helpful when we need any assistance. Will definitely stay here again 👍🏻

Clean and spacious room, we like the complimentary mini bar and also the water dispenser at the lobby. Very convenient. The onsen bath is well maintained and very spacious. We enjoyed taking pictures with our yukata. Good experience for myself and my families. Will go back again next round.

Great new hotel in Genting Highlands with beautifully decorated Onsen. Enjoyed the minibar in the room so we didn’t have to go out to get snacks and drinks.

Clean and spacious rooms. A great hotel to stay while in Genting Highlands. Easy to get around and staff were helpful. Free parking is a plus.

I don’t usually write reviews because most hotels are just like what we expect. The Yanne is different (in a bad way).

The Onsen does not understand luxury. The fittings in the room feel cheap, no plates are provided, no spoon, bathroom has no exhaust fan (smelly), coffee even the cheap one is not provided. Overall, this room feels like a cheap hotel despite the claim of Japanese-inspired. Even the cheapest Japanese hotel put some thoughts on the design.

Let’s talk about the facilities. They sent images of child play room, gym etc. Apparently the rooms are not even ready yet! By the look of it, the rooms are probably like the hotel room. Tiny and made cheaply. We have to go to a different tower for the gym (shared with so many people)

Let’s talk about the sky garden. So many towers share a small space. Oh my… who are their architects!

I recently stayed at this hotel and it was a complete disappointment. The photos online were extremely misleading; the reality was far from what was advertised. The Chinese recep lady was not only rude but also incredibly impatient. If there was an option for zero stars, I would give this hotel a zero-star rating without hesitation.

The hotel staffs were attentive and accommodating. They prepped us about onsen ethics before our arrival. We’d decided to park our car at the valet next to hotel lobby for a small fee, it’s super convenient. The Sakura pool was beautiful, and the 43 deg C hot pool next to outdoor window has an awesome mountain view. Room bed and linens are of super quality. We had a very relaxing sleepover. Overall a 5 star experience at The Yanné.

Great stay for a short getaway in Genting. My husband and I enjoyed our stay as the property is tucked inside the Delemon estate and it was one of the newer development within the compound.

The room was clean and the beddings were remarkably comfortable. No funky smell, drainage issues or dirty algae cladded windows. Perhaps the best experience out of all the other “apartment hotels” we tried in Genting. Ventilation in the room was good too, windy at night and fresh air all throughout the day. Air conditioning was also a plus point when the wind was dwindling. We took the studio apartment so it was spacious for the both of us.

Zipping up and down to Genting Highlands was not an issue as we had a car and it is just a mere 10 mins drive. Slight drawback on valet in the hotel as their porch is rather small so securing a parking lot right outside the hotel lobby might be a challenge especially during the day. Upside is that there are other lots nearby if you’re willing to walk a little.

Also, a huge shoutout to one of their staff, Tracy Lau. She was helpful in ensuring our express check in, room requirements and kept in touch with us throughout the stay to update us on housekeeping/valet/acceding to our requests etc.

PS - there is no in-house line hence the hotel staffs will communicate with you through WhatsApp. Some might feel iffy about it but we personally think it works well in terms of efficiency.

All in all, will return and hope this property holds up its immaculate outlook and charm :)

We truly enjoyed the onsen session especially the Sakura Pool which was a piece of fine art. The uniqueness of the pool increased the pleasure of soaking in the hot water on a cold evening.

The other pools were also unique, 1 with nano bubble which we were told was imported from Japan. After soaking, it made our skin smoother. We also enjoyed the other pool near the window which was with the highest temperature. With the cold breezy wind coming in from the window it made us felt so relax and comfortable.

Overall, the hotel offered great service. Thanks to their dedicated guests officers. We also had a good sleep on the comfortable bed.

For those who wanted a relaxing holiday and not too far away from the buzzing Genting Resorts world of entertainment, The Yanné Onsen Hotel is a great choice.

I would give 0 rating for literally everything about this hotel. Except for the super comfy bed and good temperature of shower water, everything else baffled us. I am writing this review at 3am in this hotel room feeling totally exhausted and frustrated for reasons being :

1. The hotel is NOT strategically located within 1.1km radius from the theme park as stated on their property description. It is actually over 5km with narrow and winding road which can be quite a dangerous drive to get there.

2. There are only few valet parking available. They are sharing parking lots with the hotel next to them which makes finding parking a horrendous task with hundreds of cars already taking up the parking space, plus the parking to their hotel needs us to walk quite a distance back to the hotel with no proper signage.

3. The room aircond makes rattling noise every other minute keeping me awake till God knows what time.

4. The room is not soundproof making every single step and conversation by other customers at wee hours to ruin my peaceful sleep after a long day.

Daunting experience overall and totally not worth for the price paid. NEVER coming back here
