We spent 6 nights here during the Easter period and it was an experience like no other we have had before. Having been our first time in a boutique hotel after numerous visits to big hotels with lots of guests the concept was at first strange to us. It didn't take us long to settle in and appreciate the most...

You're in for a treat. This is a lovely small friendly resort. It only has a few rooms, so it's never crowded, has a wonderful ambiance and great food. The rooms are spotless and have quiet air conditioning. Using old dhow sails, its tastefully decorated throughout. There was a wall hanging above our bed - with a verse about being...

I just returned with my 5-year old from Mawe Resort. We had a very pleasant stay, it is a perfectly managed place, very clean, friendly staff, good food, etc... Staff accommodated the different meal times for my daughter very well, and she thoroughly enjoyed the pool and the sea. While the resort is next to the sea, it is a...

A very well done and configured boutique hotel. Very personable, very friendly, very pleasant place to be. The staff, especially the manager went to great lengths to make our stay comfortable and pleasant. We really enjoyed our time there and if we go back to Kenya, it will certainly be a place we will be heading to. I do want...

The Manager and all the staff very friendly and helpful. Ideal location to relax by pool or walk along beach at low tide. Hotel restaurant good and hotel trips arranged to Malindi, historic sites and dhow cruise really good. Able to visit Watamu and restaurants being dropped off and catch tuk- tuk back. Also able to enjoy game fishing trip...

The place is good enough, well priced>value for money. They have a treat for couples on honeymoon to their Jacuzzi well done and private/exclusive. Their food is nice. The rooms are kinda quite close to one another thus you have to mind about your neighbor. The pool, the hammock give you very nice views of the indian ocean and some...

This place is absolutely gorgeous, is royal, beautiful, neat, clean, friendly staff who makes you feel very good. The owner Stefano is a man of great quality who does his job at a high level. He was awesome! We took a boat trip “Blu safari” and he was extremely careful with all organizational details. It's a way to make professional...

“Everything about the Mawe Boutique Resort is as it was portrayed to be. What really makes any lodge hotel special is the management and staff and Mawe has both. Stefano and all his team are always there, always smiling and always quick to respond to anything. As frequent travellers who generally go somewhere different I always judge a great place...

We spent 4 nights here and it was all that we could wish for. The hotel is small with friendly staff, and a laid back chill environment. The rooms were lovely and always clean and had a working AC unit. The food was good and there was always a great pasta dish, the passion fruit mousse is delicious. Stefano is...

Having just returned from an inconsistent stay at the Mawe Boutique/resort hotel I thought it good to write a short review of our stay. We are new parents and were traveling with our two month old baby daughter. For this reason I specifically booked a suite with a sea view as we required extra space and there was a distinct...
