It's been almost three months since returning from Wildfitness and it has certainly changed my approach to fitness. All my exercise now is almost exclusively out in nature and inside my house on those rainy days. Not a gym in sight. It is amazing how much you learn that you can take home with you. Working out is fun now...

An adventure designed by nature, facilitated by sports professionals and put to life by the learned imagination of an true athlete of nature. Wildfitness is far from a bootcamp. Tara has pulled together an excellent, enthusiastic and effective team to deliver her inspiring Wildfitness concept. They all clearly love and live the brand which is infectious and inspiring to experience. The coaches are superb and make every day both challenging and fun at the same time. Overall I was very impressed with the course on offer. The highly trained professional instructors, two Brits and and two Kenyans knew their stuff and got the...

Two weeks in a "not-so wild" and yet, "not-so tamed" world… I am partial to sub-saharian english speaking Africa. I discovered it 20 years ago and although I have lived abroad and travelled to all the other continents of our planet; I have been over there 3 times in the last 8 months! I am in love with its people,...

Wildfitness run retreats in places other than Kenya and we went to Spain. The concept is great - natural movement, food and fun in a way that pushes all abilities and ensures improvement and skills to take home. The coaches were fantastic with excellent ratios and the activities were varied and conditioned all body parts including those we didnt know...

I must confess that I was in two minds about attending a Wildfitness holiday as, though I am an active person, I am certainly no gym bunny/fitness fanatic. My doubts were quickly overcome - a very talented group of trainers did a great job of motivating everyone to reach their own maximum. It did not feel competitive or like a...

I came to Wildfitness at the end of a year that had seen me make great strides in my own personal fitness. I wanted to go on holiday somewhere a bit different to my normal destination (New York) and the programme seemed like a great way to maintain my newfound health. All I can say is that I'm so glad...

“Many say room 1 at Baraka is the room to choose it has a large wrap around balcony, however, all of the rooms are lovely though. Rm 3 is very spacious and has a lot of privacy. Rms 4 & 5 are on second level with their own private staircase each. Wi-fi is best on the roof but it is a perfect time and place to go as unplugged as you possibly can. Enjoy!”

“If you want luxury go for a room in the main house. If you only want a place to crash out after a hard day's training, then the more basic rooms near the pool 300 m from the main house are a sensibly priced alternative”
