3 course dinner with good wine, bed and breakfast for around 75 Euros/head. Evening meal was high standard, bedrooms OK - what you would expect from a 2 star hotel, and service friendly. Walled medieval town is attractive as well. Certainly worth the detour from the autoroute.

We stayed here on our way South. Near enough to the port of Calais to be easily reachable (2hours or so). Very welcoming staff very centrally placed with gated parking at rear. Lovely garden area for drinks and dinner. Excellent choice of menu very well presented and prepared. All in all a delight. Basic room but entirely adequate for us...

We booked the day before by telephone and were told we could book in after 5pm . We arrived dead on 5pm and were booked in by a pleasant young lady ( my schoolboy French was an advantage ), she told me that the restaurant opened at 7pm. Our room was clean and quirky, but comfortable. The food in the...

The hotel is decent though not excellent. The room was clean and beds were comfortable enough for one night. There is quite some noise from neighbouring rooms (floor and beds creak!). we had a very good dinner in the restaurant with local and regional dishes. Very enjoyable!

We stayed here twice with the kids. Once for one night passing on bike to Paris, a second time for one week also for biking in the region. Good and cosy rooms, excellent and flexible service. Food is good, at a reasonable price.

Visited with 3 kids to see the ruined Chateau and the Chateau at Pierrefonds (40mins away). Both were worth a visit and the hotel was an excellent base. Family room was comfortable and we had 2 lovely dinners in the restaurant. Would happily stay again if in the area.

We try to visit this hotel each year and just love it, as well as the town and the location. The Belle Vue is in the French tradition - simple and a 'no frills' atmosphere. The hotel rooms have had a bit decoration since last year and the place seemed busier and the service more friendly. There is a nice...

Our final stop on the way back from Nice to Calais saw us in Coucy-le-Chateau - having not visited since 2011. We had room 8 which is the Deluxe room - which we managed to secure for only €8 more than a standard room. Now, deluxe should be taken with a slight pinch of salt because it was very nice...

Good sized, atmospheric family room. The hotel felt a little bit 'Allo allo' and the breakfast was pretty average but the room was really clean and bunk beds made it fun for the kids. We hadn't pre-booked and were travelling in busy July, but the hotel was very quiet. It's a nice village to stop in on the way South...

When we checked into this couple-managed hotel around 6 pm, I don't think I have ever experienced the rudeness as encountered here and we have stayed in many hotels. The gentleman/chef was fine, but the lady has a problem in customer relations. We went down a little after the time of restaurant's opening as it was only open from 7-9...
