Stayed here with my daughter for a weeks holiday and had a lovely time. The staff here are really friendly which means the world to us brits as I have been to many places where the staff can be quite hostile to the British holiday maker which is quite judgmental. The only jibe is a gentleman working in the restaurant on the Saturday when leaving he was quite abrupt and regimental with the menu asking us to access via our phones by scanning. This is all well and good if everyone is techno savvy which I can imagine that not all people are. Not to tar all staff with the same brush though as it was definitely only this guy who was being so ruling as the other waitresses had handed us a menu with no hesitation, which were laminated and easy clean to protect from the dreaded lurgy! There is a sunbathing upper deck which you need to get early once the chain has been removed around 9am. We preferred it here as was mainly adults and had a lovely jacuzzi which was warm. The pool was also warm which is another bonus as so many we have visited in the past have not been heated. We stayed b&b and we could not fault anything, spotless and clean, nice coffee ( another plus!) always something for all tastes. My daughter has soya milk so she brought her own from the local spa down to breakfast and added this to black coffee, no problem. Had lunch there which was good value and tasty. Rooms cleaned every day for Bly negative here is it was very noisy as we could here people talking, singing and foot steps early morning. Tv has English channels so you can catch up on news and soaps if that’s your thing. The location is excellent tbh the old town around the harbour was very quiet so we mainly went further to the strip. Restaurants Mumbai masala, oriental house, cafe ola, a Mexican with great fajitas were all lovely. A great find for a drink and a snack on the beach with great views was the beach terrace. All in all a great long awaited break away for some winter sun ☀️ Enjoy… I would definitely return 😀

We booked the Fariones Apartments at the last minute and stayed for six nights in July 2021. As we were still in the pandemic, I was a little anxious about travelling. However, I needn't have been. We arrived at the complex after an early morning flight and didn't expect to be able to check in until later in the afternoon, We hoped we might just leave our bags at reception. To our great surprise, our apartment was ready and waiting. We had a lovely experience at the reception desk and the lady was very pleasant and helpful, Indeed, I did not meet any staff member who was any way unpleasant.
We had a studio with a garden view and what a well kept garden with beautiful flowers and cacti. The studio was spotless and the decor was lovely. It was very spacious for 2 people with everything you needed. A small sitting area with a coffee table, then there was a divided section for the sleeping area and the beds and pillows were so comfortable. There is plenty of starage cupboards and a safety deposit box. The bathroom is very modern with a powerful shower. The kitchen is smal but has all you need to keep you going. We had an added surprise with a complementary bottle of sparkling wine and a bottle of water, a very nice touch. The terrace furniture was newly painted and it was obvious that the complex was well maintained. Whenever we had any small issue someone was sent to rectify it straight away.
The buffet breakfast was fabulous and there was something for everyone. The staff in the breakfast room were very accomodating and friendly. The restaurant also served lunch but closed for dinner which wasn't a probelm as the variety of restaurants in Puerto Del Carmen is phenomenal.
The pool area is extremely well maintained and you cannot leave towels on sunbeds and go off for the day. I found this great as it meant we would get a sunbed and a parosol at any time. The pool attendant frequently dissenfected the touchpoints around the pool. Also when a sunbed was vacated it was disenfected for the next person. The solarium area is beautiful and there were always sunbeds available here at any time of the day, it is a bit windier up there though. The jacuzzi is on this floor and is an added bonus.
You will not need to bring a hairdryer as the one supplied in the apartment is a professional one, also pool towels are supplied. The apartments were cleaned every day and towels changed when necessary ( every day if you wanted them)
We will definitely be returning to the Fariones next year.

We dropped onto this place a week before going, very last minute, paid a little more than we wanted for bed and breakfast and took what was left. Having checked the reviews and being a little apprehensive due to some negative comments about kids using the pool, we were a bit worried. Well everything happens for a reason eh, we couldn't believe our luck!
We arrived after 10pm to be greeted by a cheerful friendly helpful receptionist. The room we were allocated was on the first floor overlooking the pool at the end of the row. It had two bedrooms and a decent sized kitchenette/diner living room and a far size bathroom It was spotless and seemed to be a prime location. The only real disappointed was the lack of Aircon, but we had windows and fans.
Up for breakfast the next day we were very pleased as there was a great spread of European and quasi English breakfast type items. They had a chef on cooking omelettes to order as well as fresh eggs, pancakes too on certain days. Loads of fresh fruits as well as pastries and cereal. Plenty to choose from and open late enough for our reclusive teen to still eat something. (serves till 1030)
Next up was the acid test, the pool! Having read reviews that basically said the lifeguard hated kids, you couldn't have fun and you weren't allowed inflatables, we were a bit concerned as our 12 year old is loud and loves a pool. No fear, the lifeguard was the one handing out pool noodles 😂 On another day they brought in a massive inflatable trampoline for the kids and all the bar staff as well as lifeguards were very approachable, friendly and helpful. Yes you're not suppose to have kids in the hot tub, but they seemed to turn a blind eye.
They had entertainment in the evening in the bar, the grounds were well kept, the rooms were serviced daily, the staff were all helpful, there's a great sun terrace as well and on our final day they let us have use of a room to shower and change before departure.
The place is in a good location for the strip of noisy bars and the beach, but far enough that you don't hear it at night. It's close to a nice shopping centre and 10 mins walk from Lidl. You can wander down to the port and the restaurants in about 10/15 mins. The local buses are 5mins walk away, the receptionist helped with a timetable.
The negatives - not all rooms have Aircon and people do reserve sun beds early, but we had windows and a fan and you could get a sunbed, just not in a prime pool spot. Hey-ho, no biggie and certainly not deal breakers.
Would we go again? Yep, especially if we got the same room. Great place and lovely staff. We struck very lucky.
PS - we're a family of gingers, what was really funny was the amount of Irish people at the place, it was like a gingers convention centre 🤣😉🤣 blooming marvelous

We have passed this place year in and year out, always intended to stay here and we took the plunge. All the staff from the receptionists, waiting staff, cleaning people, life guard & maintenance people were very pleasant and accommodating. Our 2 apartments were spacious and clean. Breakfast is to kill for, all different options, which was quickly replaced if the item was running low, and as much as you want. The heated pools, toddler & big one, made all the difference with us having to drag our granddaughter out or she would have turned into a mermaid. The snacks and drinks were good and very reasonably priced. Both my daughter and I had our birthdays there and a little dish of treats were provided, a very good touch that brought a smile to a maturing man face. The location was perfect. Is this our last visit, definitely not. The only recommendations, not a criticism but observation, I would give the management/owners for the price that's charged is as follows; If a family book in together then it would be appropriate to have the 2 apartments as close together as possible. Toiletries, soap, was provided once, this should be topped up if it looked as though it was needed. Fortunately I took my own. Towels should be automatically replaced, not if we had thrown them in the bath as was the rule which we didn't know Toilet paper remembered me on what I used to have when I was back in school in the late 1970,s. Quality doesn't cost that much. Towels on the sun beds and people not using them was another problem with people not turning up for the day, half a day. On the odd occasion the lifeguard folded some but left them on the table next to the couple of beds that they had been on, place them close to the lifeguards or a central point. Some elderly people couldn't get any. Some of the sun beds close to the toddler pool should be for families only, not that there were a lot of families - 3. Not a lot of people used the pool but yet our granddaughter couldn't use her inflatable flamingo. It maybe worth allowing this but if it gets busy with people wanting to swim then the lifeguard could then ask for them to be removed until it got quiet again.

Back a week from Fariones Apts, booked with Tui. Room was lovely everything spotless, Tui rooms don't have air conditioning an even though bedroom was lovely an big , it was a sweat box. We were on ground so couldn leave door or window open. Ask could I move to one with Airton an got it second day at the extra cost of €78 euro.All the staff an cleaners doing a great job but very disappointed that out of 7 days only got a sunbed 3, as people were putting towels out over night which I saw them doing when coming back from strip. These people were older people in there late 60s an 70s ,Not Germans they were Irish. sad. So I told porter if they didn do anything I was throwing them in the pool. I didn have too as he removed towels as he saw them ,an management told lifeguard to take them off each day then. We couldn get lunch as the people who left their beds unoccupied were sitting up at restaurant in the shade reading an not buying. So every day we'd to walk to Matagora an back ,an lunch on strip to kill time. Went to celebrate my 35th Wedding Anniversary an a lovely bottle of Cava was left in my room, Thank You again. But didn make up for stress of having to leave complex each day instead of relaxing. Breakfast was lovely, enough choice. Rooms an complex spotless. All the staff lovely. No changing room when leaving only luggage room. In my opinion Fariones is overpriced for 3 stars . (Rooms need painting.) an I've been to Lanzarote loads of times. An not enough beds to cater for the amount of rooms. They did get extra ones because of complaints but not enough. Roof top lovely were the hot tub is , usually a nice breeze. Would like to go back as in a good spot but they'd want to improve on the few things.

The complex is very clean and well laid out. Staff are very friendly and working round the clock to keep the area in pristine condition. Breakfast is superb with a vast range of very well presented food choices. Down side is holidaymakers putting towels on all poolside beds prior to 7:30am daily! This is in contrast to the guidance given to guests at the start of their vacation where it clearly states this will not be tolerated. Guests were also putting towels on the raised solarium area and not returning until late afternoon. I raised this issue with the lifeguard in accordance with the guests information sheet, but unfortunately to no avail. These people should have a serious look at themselves and show some consideration to other guests, some whose balconies don’t catch direct sunshine. Otherwise, very nice accommodation and enjoyable stay.

Everything about this resort was fabulous they provide pool towels which is great if your just taking a carry on bag pool has a life guard upstairs sun bathing area has a jacuzzi and lovely views out out to the sea. Very central everything within walking distance. The place was kept spotlessly clean and sanitised all the time Masks were worn by staff at all times and by clients whilst walking around inside restuarant. My tip book early and get apartment overlooking pool we booked last minute so they were not available, but next trip I will book well in advance.

Our 4th time at these beautiful apartments. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Maids in every day cleaning and changing towels . Hotel has hand sanitiser all over the hotel felt very safe. Looking forward to our return next June .

These apartments are very nice, located a short walk from the old town and the strip. The staff are very nice and helpful, the breakfast each morning was good with a large selection of cold and hot food. The pool area and all communal areas are all kept well and cleaned each day. There is a lifeguard on duty at the pool each day. I stayed in apartment 246 the apartment was nice but the decor was a bit dated and there was only 1 electric socket in the bed room which I thought was very bad. the location of the room was a bit strangers it was a level below the pool and had no view of anything from the balcony. My over all assessment is good but not worth the high price.

Absolutely loved our holiday at apartments fariones. Staff friendly, apartments clean and are cleaned every day and we got 3 changes of towels during our 7 night stay. you get pool towels that you can get change once for free then you can pay to replace thereafter at 1€ each.
Breakfast good and plenty of choices, strawberry daiquiris are superb 🍹
They do a white party once a week where they do paella which my other half loved and the snack/lunch menu is fab and reasonably priced.
Would totally recommend the apartments as they are close to beach, shopping centre, excellent supermarket round corner mercando which is so good and the apartments have excellent kitchen facilities should you decide to cook in which we did on one night.
It was our first time to lanzarote and loved the place and the accommodation made it an enjoyable holiday and will defo be back 😍
