We have really enjoyed our stay at BG Pamplona. The hotel has just been renovated, the staff was very friendly, very nice location and position, 2 minutes walk from the beach, but far enough to avoid the noise of the people and bars of the promenade. The room is cozy and clean, the food was good and varied. Every evening there was some event in the pool, such as live music, singers, pianos, sax, etc., and a drink was almost always offered. I would book again and again, recommended!

Room Tip: High floors will be quieter as far from the pool area, and you'll also get a better view.

My friend and I were on a self guided bike tour of Mallorca and this hotel was the first one of the tour. Pros: clean, modern rooms, with balcony. Mini fridge in the rooms. Shower with a relaxing rain type shower head; no bathtub. Comfortable bed with a memory foam mattress. Good lighting in the room. Wifi was very good and free. Bottled water was in the fridge, but no mini bar. However the pool and restaurant have bars with well priced drinks. The staff went above and beyond to help us with some special requests. Bar and restaurant staff were also friendly and efficient. Loved the pool and variety of deck chairs, beds with canopies and live music at night. Excellent location, one block to the beach. Cons: no tissue paper in the rooms, safe cost extra, somewhat noisy at night because my room was at pool level and I could here the music at night. But, I liked their playlist and they shut it down at 11. Restaurant: our tour included their buffet breakfast and dinner. Both were outstanding and we ate at the hotel every night. Dinner selections changed nightly. Didn't use the gym or spa. Bus to Palma leaves outside the hotel and is a worthwhile day trip.

Pamplona is more like a 3-star hotel. The lounging areas are small and leisure activities are uneventful. Organized parties begin at 8.30 pm and dinner lasts until 9.30. The sun sets at 8.30 and many people prefer to stay at the beach until 8 pm. Parties last only until midnight when everything closes. The swimming pool is very small and there are inflatable mattresses floating in it, cramping the place even more. Food choice is limited and food is bland. Meat is hard to chew and fish is bland. Cockroaches can be seen in the restaurant and in the hotel and nobody swipes the floors. The shell of the same bug was lying in the same place between two sets of stairs on two different days. Elevators are small and it takes time for them to arrive. Standard rooms are tiny and two people cannot be comfortable there because one person should sit on their bed while the other person moves because there is no space for two people. Beds cannot be separated because there is no room. A slightly overweight person would be uncomfortable going from the bathroom to the terrace because of the cramped space. Cleaning is bad and the bedsheets are not changed during the stay. Maids do not clean the room well and there is a difference in quality between the services of different maids. Checkout is at 11 am. I would not recommend this hotel and it does not deserve 4 stars. The price is too high for such poor quality and experience. The promotional photos of the hotel and its services are deceiving.

It is good hotel, with good food and clean rooms, professional people that works in hotel - except management who spoil all this paying for bad internet provider. Pool is not so big but it is OK. Just bad surprise was very bad wi fi , no internet in the room, nor in pool area. If you wish to commnunicate trough whatsup or viber you must stay close to reception where internet works which is not so pleasant nor allow privacy. For 150EU for single room per night, I would expect to have internet in the room.

Hotel is located on 2 min walk to the sandy beach. Area around the hotel is calm. There is a big supermarket Mercadona near the hotel. 15 min walk from the hotel to the Arenal side you can see a very noisy streets with pubs and bars where Germans have parties. There are 2 buildings in the hotel: with standard hotel rooms and apartments with kitchen. It's better to stay in the first one on the 6th floor. The best views - rooms 608-610 (mountains, piece of ocean and beautiful sunsets). All rooms look nice and clean. In the fridge you can find 2 bottles of water. They are free. WiFi in the hotel is not the best one and I constantly lost connection. Breakfast and dinner were included in my accommodation. Choice of meals is quite good (meat, fish, vegetables, fruits), however I can't say that this food was delicious. It seemed that they used yesterday's food and no flavors.
