My partner and I have just returned from Palma. Weather was ok, not hot as you would expect, but ok as January was our chosen month to travel. We wrapped up warm and walked along the promenade, nice walk but fresh. We spent a lovely day in Palma checking the cathedral, brilliant, and breathtaking. Hotel, lovely, food great selection as we were on all inclusive, available only in winter. Staff were polite, well spoken, and really considerate. It was the German section of Palma, so we embraced the culture. Rooms, facilities spotlessly clean. Little extras like nuts on the tables at night, waiters bringing you your chosen drink to the table, and clean towels when required. All in all a lovely break, one I would highly recommend. Try new things, new food, entertainment on the evening is in German so don’t expect English. I would use Rui hotels again as they provided us with a fabulous stay. Thanks guys Suzanne.

Room Tip: I required a room on the first floor because I had a leg injury. They accommodated me straight away.

Great location as a start point of travelling the island, amazing buffet variety, mostly quite, very friendly staff. Use of safe is extra EUR 2 a night, JFYI. Lots of parking space is available on the near by streets.

My family Arrived early but was accommodated with rooms within half an hour of our arrival. We were offered free drinks at check in which was a nice touch. The room was a nice size and clean, not particularly a great view. All food was really nice, a great choice. Sadly a lack of tables for a family of 4 most nights. Had to search or ask for a clean table to be made up. This slightly let the hotel down for me. I was trying to enjoy a day by the pool but unfortunately there was another Riu hotel opposite being ripped to pieces, so please be aware you will have to listen to drilling and other loud noises most of the day. If you are after some peace and quiet in your room you are very unlikely to get it, the doors in the hotel start slamming from around 8am, as that’s when the cleaners start and people start going down to breakfast. The doors here are so loud when they shut. The area is predominantly German and so are most of the guests. If you are English this may not be the greatest area to stay due to the language barrier. Also in November very little is open. There are a few unsavoury characters hanging around and it drove me mad people keep trying to sell me their rubbish. I can’t fault the room or the friendliness of the staff at this hotel, the food was also outstanding. I will definitely try another Riu hotel but sadly the area of this hotel wasn’t for me.
