Older hotel built in 1961, unique "horseshoe" design, refurbished to a high standard 6-7 years ago. Rooms are located on first and second floor, no elevator. Rooms are fresh, clean, basic design with en suite etc and shower. Toiletries provided. Secure underground parking and good standard restaurant. Good location close to riverside and Catholic Church in what is ostensibly a...

I stayed here for six nights. The Hotel is very affordable (about 1000 baht/night). The rooms are lovelyand the hotel is easy walking distance from the old riverside area which is great for food. Comfortable and safe. Recommended.

The hotel locates in the very good location. Just a few minutes walk to old town riverside and restaurants. The breakfast was great. And don't forget to try Waffle in hotel coffeeshop. No elevator (as far as seen).

We stayed a night and it was ok. I have a few itchy bites on my body and wonder if they need to update the linen to be new along with the mattresses. If your looking for the best restaurant in town get a taxi and drive past Robinsons up and over the little bridge crossing the small river. On...

This hotel is OK for a small town in Thailand. Rooms clean but basic. Breakfast limited but acceptable. We stayed just for one night during a bike tour, so can't speak to the area around the hotel or possibility of things to do.

We made our first visit back to Chanthaburi since 2014 and chose this hotel again after previous good experiences. One again we where greeted with helpful staff as the door and desk and quietly settled in to our brief accommodation which provides an excellent base for our travels in the area. The rooms are clean and functional, my wife feels...

Comfortable room well located close to the river and across the road from the "best" restaurant in town. Bed was large a comfortable adequate space for two people. Staff had adequate English. Needed a kettle.

A good, well equiped and clean room. Very helpfull staff tough at the reception English can be a problem. The location is perfect for visiting the old Chanthaboon riverfront. Good breakfast at the hotel. The restaurant closes early so it is no option for the evening but there a lot of options around.

Sometimes onw just lucks into a hotel the first time visiting an unfamiliar city. Kasemsarn is just such a jewel. (And excuse the pun, considering Chanthaburi's reputation for gem trading.) A modern property, with spacious rooms (albeit tiny bathroom), there is a large open courtyard and parking if you drive. Good king size beds But best is the location: just...
