Hotel lobby is very luxurious for a budget hotel, as well as the rooms! We had the more expensive room with balcony on 5th floor, which was great but did have a smell of cigarettes even though there are notices saying that the rooms are non-smoking. I also dropped something down the side of the bad and had to move...

The girls at the reception Are always bussy with their mobile phones, I ask about a place for breakfast since there it was just plain bread, and the receptionist said "i don t know", although i...

Frankly , I don't expect much for a 20 dollar city centre hotel room these days but I was very pleasantly suprised . The hotel reception area is a bit strange and part of a gems shop /gallery but for me it is the room that counts. The room I was given at 690 baht was huge with a sofa/relax...

A perfect hotel if you are visiting for the issue of Gems, is located in the city center, is not a tourist hotel, the entrance was a gallery with different windows of jewelry, and at the end of the window there is the reception, you have to roll up your luggage, myself, and the fridge is empty, generally clean and...

Although the rooms are a little dated they very spacious, lovely and clean. Bedding also very clean and room serviced each day with fresh towels. The staff are very helpful and...

My colleague also had bites in another...

If your purpose is semi-precious stone trading or shopping, this is a perfect place for you. Located in the heart of Gems Street, market, and trading zone. Taking into account the average standard of Chanthaburi Hotels and comparing with other hotels around the Gems Street, this is a good hotel. It is neat, clean & tidy, pleasant atmosphere, lovely top-floor...

“IMPORTANT!! they do not accept reservations for friday or saturday nights. its strictly walk-up. during the week, no problem. having said that, both times i stayed, i walked up in the mid-afternoon on saturday and got a room. the gem market is held friday and saturday (mainly saturday). its not a tourist-friendly thing...its strictly business in raw stones, cut stones and some pre-made pieces. generally wholesale lots etc. you want to try on jewelry? bangkok is the place to go”
