We were: 2 adults, 2 kids (15/10) Location: At an altitude of around 850m and 5 minutes walk to the Steinplatte lift (altitude 1745m and higher) and 1 minute walk to the local piste where they gave starting skiing classes (light blue hill). Very good for families and starting skiers/snowboarders. The local ski school is excellent, but then, I must...

I recently stayed at this hotel with a group of middle aged friends and the reception we had was nothing short of downright rude. Had it not been for the fact that I spoke good German I am sure it would have been much worse. One of our group a younger single lady forgot to take her key out with...

Food was good but staff made it very sour. The bar was in the dinning area which meant you had to say at your table to drink, that was when the rude staff didn't bang on the table and tell you 10 minutes. Several times the dinning area lights were off just after 9 and at times we were even...

Went to the Hotel Heigenhauser with some friends for a ‘long weekend’ skiing and was not impressed by any aspect of this hotel other than an extremely good breakfast buffet. The hotel waiter was extremely rude and responded with aggression to polite requests for drinks orders; he even resorted to banging spoons on the table to get across his message....

Stayed just after New Year. Good Points: Smart Restaurant, Good Food, Good Location, Very Clean. Bad Points: Bedrooms badly need a makeover - dark, badly lit, grotty bathrooms, no public areas other than the restaurant - not really anywhere to sit and have a drink or coffee, 6pm supper is too early on a ski trip, owner likes to shut...

24 of us have just stayed here and can honestly say that nobody had a bad word to say about it. This place is within 5 mins walk to the Steinplatte and is centrally located for most of the other resorts in the area. Definitely worth checking out the sauna and relaxation facility after a days ski.

This Hotel is a very typical Austrian hotel that offers superb accommodation and facilities in a very nice resort. The Hotel offers easy access to the ski area of Steinplatte (5 minute walk). The Hotel offers very fine traditional Tyrolean food for the most heartiest of appetites. There is WiFi in the very nice reception/bar/restaurant area. Thank you for a...

Typically Austrian hotel with nice resturant and bar. Waiters and bar staff only too happy to help. There is a small spa on site to take a sauna and relax. A nice experience. Ideally situation for access to the gondola lift to the slopes, (Steinplatte). The room are spacious and all ensuite, they are well equipped.
