DO NOT ACCEPT ROOM 254 (and the surrounding rooms)!! We were given this room and thought it was 'ok' but then realised the 2 storey generator is stored behind the bedroom wall!! The generator sounds like a jet engine for 17 hours per day! It goes off at 10.30pm but at 05.15am you are woken by it firing up and the bedroom ceiling actually vibrates!! We went down to reception at 06.40am to request a room change as this is not the standard expected for 4*. We were told to come back at 13.00pm and it would be sorted, which it was, but all the hassle of repacking and waiting for the room to be ready cut into our first day on top of being tired from such an early start. We have never (EVER) known this before in any other hotel, we could still hear it after being moved but it was a lot less. The hotel could also do with brightening up, reception and communal areas are very dark and dingey, and not like the other GF hotels which are bright and glass fronted. We also had a poor experience with the Spa, after waiting to book in, we left our number at the desk as requested. We went back x3 times and eventually somebody came at 4.10 when we were told we couldn't use the facility as it closed at 5.00pm - suffice to say, we didn't go back. We would not stay here again, and it doesn't match up to the other GF hotels. Location is good though but the GF Fanabe acroos the road is much nicer. We can't comment on the food as we were self catering.

Just come back from a week in GF Isabel Overall it was a nice resort with a lot to offer families & children but I just expected a bit more from its 4 star rating & almost always fully booked. Just a note - this is not a negative review by any means, just my honest opinion. PROS - The location in costa Adeje is fantastic - The resort caters really well for children with the pools, playgrounds, football pitches, bouncy castle, mini golf etc. We did not use the kids club or see any of the evening entertainment so cannot comment on that. - Pools were heated which were great on the couple of cloudy days we had. - Breakfast was good quality & had a large selection. There was always a highchair available for our baby & they provided plastic plates & cutlery etc for the kids. - The resort grounds were well kept & always looked nice CONS - Accommodation: We had a 1 bedroom apartment for reference The apartments are very dated in my opinion. They seemed really dark & hardly had any lighting & not enough plug sockets(next to the bed etc). We also had a terrible ant problem in our kitchenette despite me cleaning the sides constantly with surface wipes fetched from home. - The WiFi was terrible. I understand this is not a big deal for some people, but it is 2024 now where WiFi should be widely available everywhere. It was so weak all over the resort & I had to end up paying to use my data. - The house keeping was a very low standard in my opinion. I think they only ever made the beds & replaced towels (apart from the kitchen tea towel which I had to ask for twice). We had toothpaste marks all around the sink all week & we placed a piece of banana skin near the door which was never swept away all week. The colour of my daughter’s baby grow also suggested the floor wasn’t cleaned either. - The safe in the room wasn’t free. We had to pay to rent for a week. - The hotel would only offer 1 extra hour late check out on our day of departure despite us offering to pay & us having a baby. We had to use the communal convenience room to get changed & had nowhere cold to store our baby’s milk. - Breakfast was absolute carnage. I understand this is due to the size of the resort but it really was mental. They maybe need to implement a time slot system to try & offer a more relaxed atmosphere. - the main pool toilets were disgusting. I went to them on several occasions & they smelt terrible. Would I stay again - yes I would consider but would be inclined to check the neighbouring resorts in adeje too.

Best hotel I've stayed in so far! It's so clean and looked after, rooms are very spacious and the views from the balcony are incredible! The hotel itself has a huge territory which is so clean with lots of plants and flowers, so cozy. Staff is incredible, everyone is so polite and friendly, excellent service. Animation team is great, very interactive with everyone and fun, absolutely loved it! Big pool with one end for the children, plenty of sunloungers and they're available all day, no one puts towels on them at stupid oclock every morning! Best part for me is food, lots of variety, plenty to choose from. Everything I tried was delicious, fresh and homemade. I would 100% come back here again and I hope I will! Thank you very much to everyone at GF Isabel for an incredible stay!

Fantastic Hotel more like a village than anything else we had a great time. The staff are great and drinks are pretty cool. I would recommend this hotel for families especially families with babies. The surrounding area is full of good places to eat and drink as well as decent beaches.

The hotel rooms were lovely, clean and tidy . Staff at reception were very helpful, friendly and and happy to help you. I had problems with my back and the young lad on reception ( who was great) arranged to have my bed replaced and not only that but the hotel gave me a mattress topper. Jessica also on reception is a lovely girl and recommended La caleta to us which was lovely. She even offered us another room because of my back trouble. They really took an interest in you. The staff in the restaurant were equally friendly and helpful. Alvin always talked to us in the mornings, a nice guy! Every morning we were greeted and shown to our table. Lots of choices with the food as well The staff working on the poolside bar were very friendly trying to put my poor Spanish right. I hadn't been to Tenerife before and was pleasantly surprised by the resort and shopping centres which were modern, very clean, no litter, public spaces and toilets absolutely immaculate. I hope to come back again in the near future, we really enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful hotel. My 12 year old daughter and I have just spent a very happy week at the GF Isabel. The hotel is spotless, and the staff are very hospitable, doing anything they can to make your stay comfortable. They are the biggest asset of this hotel. The head chef was particularly helpful. When I asked one of the chefs if there was any pasta sauce without meat or fish, she went and asked the head chef, who came out and asked me what I would like. He then specifically returned to the kitchen and made that sauce just for me, despite having to feed hundreds of other guests. To me, that was class, and demonstrated just how seriously the staff here care for their customers. The rooms are clean and spacious, with all the facilities you need. We were in room 20, which is a single parent room. The beds were comfortable, and we slept well. The rooms are air conditioned. Although I think in summer, the air conditioning probably won't be that effective. The shower was powerful and water temperature great. Cleaned daily, towels changed if required and beds made up by the lovely cleaning staff, we enjoyed lots of friendly chats with them. Great ambassadors. As you would expect from the GF brand, the hotel facilities are plentiful, and the entertainment is great. Both during the day and in the evening. From pool activities to ping pong tournaments, there's something for everyone. Talking of the pool. There are plenty sun beds, but get down here for 10 to bag yourself the best ones! Lifeguards are always on duty, and they will issue fresh clean towels every day. I don't really have anything negative to say about the GF Isabel. Last year we stayed at the GF Gran Costa hotel, just up the road, which is 5 star and much more expensive. To be honest, we had just as good a time in the Isabel, on a reduced budget. Thank you GF Isabel. You made my daughter and I feel very special. And we love your Canarian / Spanish hospitality. We are very grateful 🙏.

Decent hotel, where the village design offers something a little more homely and unique than the many large block hotels in the area. Staff are flawlessly friendly - to a person superb with everyone in our family. Seem happy in their work. 2 nice pools plus a baby pool. All heated. The decor is traditional, some would say dated but there are actually a lot of facilities across the complex. Animation team energetic and pleasant but never intrusive. Some people take the sunbed situation more seriously than others - things are fairly relaxed with no scrum and as long as you are flexible you could get a bed at pretty much any time of the time - this was during half term and the hotel seemed pretty full. There will always be those who are after towels on the button of pool opening. Our experience of WiFi was very strong in our room, much less so in communal areas. Drinks good and reasonable. Food so/so. Never hungry but never wowed. The hotel are very flexible on half board as to whether you have lunch or dinner which is really helpful. With so many bars restaurants and supermarkets close by, plus the facilities of a bungalow I think self catering or b and b offers best value here but obviously that depends on the options you have and their prices. All in all a well located friendly complex - handy for Fanabe beach/prom. Would recommend 👍

This is a decent 3 start hotel. We’ve been a number of times over the past 10 years and we would recommend it to anyone looking for a steady accommodation package with a good pool (heated), no sunbed issues and accommodation offering a one bedroom apartment. Pretty decent value for money all in all. This review will come across negative as it’s a critical review, there’s a lot of good which I haven’t mentioned (which is why I have rated it 4/5), so take it first what it is: WiFi - the hotel wifi is absolutely hopeless. I knew it wasn’t going to be great but only after 3 days when my mobile data ran out I realised what an appalling service they actually have. It’s consistently intermittent, and at best (if you can get a good signal) running at about 12 mg. We were around the main pool area so it wasn’t like we were on the 5th floor or anything. If you want a good signal you will need to go to reception. Come on guys, it’s 2024, sort it out! Food - we were HB, the food is ok for 7 nights, nothing special, but enough to choose from, and in general is ok/good. It won’t wow you, but you won’t go hungry. We ate out for one night and boy did we enjoy it! House wine in the main restaurant is 12 euros, which isn’t bad, but soft drinks served in mini bottles won’t help either. Entertainment - very average, but I can see why….most of the guest’s are young families so come 9.30pm most are back to their rooms. So why bother with more? One night we returned back at 11pm to find the live singer playing to a totally empty bar Kids Club - for over 8’s it’s pretty naff, and the activities going on each day are likewise (mini golf, table tennis etc). Beds : two single beds on wheels in the main room - Bed was comfortable but just get a king size bed! In the lounge area the sofa beds are comfortable and decent quality so no issues for the kids kitchen - equipped with minimal kitchen gear, you will need a wine bottle opener as there isn’t one included.
