This was a treat as the room was not only spacious but had a good sized balcony with a great view looking towards town and the windmills. A simple breakfast is included and the hostess Mihaela was charming and always helpful.

Hi there, I have booked to stay at the Akrotiraki in August and I am a solo traveller (female). I'm a little bit worried about walking back from the town by myself in the evening. Can anyone tell me if it's possible to get Taxi's/buses etc? I don't drive so car hire not an option. Many thanks in advance

Hi, the hotel is about 10mins walk from the hotel. You are surrended by other hotels and restaurants so in my opinion you shouldn't be worried at all, there are quiet a lot of tourists that walk that way even last night so it is very safe !
If you are really concerned there are taxis in the town and you can also ask a hotel to order you one if you need to go out.
Enjoy your stay X
