There is a limit you can draw from the cash machines per day but Sophia Village take debit cards as do the shops and restaurants. Some car hire or quad bike hire places prefer cash. If you bring Euros as a back up there is no real issue at all. You wouldn't be overly aware if you did not see TV. We have moved to other islands and the situation is the same. No big deal.
