We have been to tangalooma a few times before for holidays. The island itself is just amazingly beautiful. Perfect for swimming and exploring and day trips. Our unit in deep blue (number 20) was unfortunately very disappointing. For over $4000 just for accommodation for the week we expected a lot more. It was dirty when we arrived. It honestly looked...

Disappointing visit. The island is very commercialised, it reminded me of a Butlins Holiday Camp. Adults drinking alcohol during the day and children with them amusing themselves. the meal voucher that came with the ticket could not be used at some places because they closed early and we didn't know this. It was quite crowded on the day we visited...

We were a party of four in two deluxe rooms. The rooms were spacious and well appointed, including small balconies. Activities were excellent and well run. Except for one (waiting for a boat to take us sea scootering) everything moved along very smoothly. Food choice was a little limited and some of the fried options weren't best, but on the...

The resort has facilities for all budget. I arrived and collapsed from heat. The attention and service I got was far and beyond their duty. The way they looked after us can not be expressed in just thanks! Few things to remember: book Tangalooma Cruise if you are going to the resort, especially with lots of luggage! The Resort collects...

We had a one day shore visit off the Pacific Jewel cruise ship. A walk along the beach, a refreshing drink at the bar with some island music in the background. We also had the pool to ourselves for a relaxing swim, Will go again and stay longer.

Stunning location with plenty of activities. Sand tobogganing down the dunes was great fun - a word of advise though, remember to keep your mouth closed on the way down! Feeding the wild dolphins at sunset is an obvious draw card for the resort, and is a wonderful experience and is extremely popular and can therefore be extremely busy

Travelled there with my husband, son and niece for a 2 night break. Transfers fine, well organised, didn't realise we couldn't take our own alcohol sadly, and did think $43 for a bottle of wine rather steep! Ate a BBQ one night and went to the restaurant the next, the Chinese one. Very enjoyable meal. Book your dolphin feeding as...

Despite recent renovations, still dated. Extremely expensive food which is largely deep fried/microwaved and tastes awful. It is a shame the facilities offered and their prices are so bad because the island itself has lovely beaches and views. There's an opportunity to do better if the resort were in the right capable hands.

Sometimes you think of heading off on an aeroplane to find fun in the sun and tropical peace on beautiful beaches. On this occasion we decided to revisit Tangalooma Island just 30 minutes by boat from where we live 24 years after our first visit. The change is incredible and as a family we absolutely loved revisiting the island and...

A nice little resort. The room was ok, a little dated but it was clean and comfortable. The cooking facilities were all we needed and well used. The choice of restaurants on the island is limited and overpriced. The supermarket is limited. Bread choice could be better. If you’re staying a while bring your own food. Plenty to do on...
