I was a little nervous after reading some of the reviews recently but have to say I was presently surprised. We booked a package 5 nights deluxe hotel room with great views of the beach. The accomodation with clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. Small bar fridge so we took food for breakfast and lunch. We eat dinner 4... More

This was our first visit to Tangalooma - had heard of it but despite being a Travel Agent had never had clients request it. We were thrilled with our experience and lucky with the weather too, probably seeing it at its best. Stayed in a deluxe room in the Kookaburra Lodge with a view out over the bay. We did... More

The island is beautiful and the dolphin feeding is fun. But the place shouldn't be called a resort, rather it should be called a motel. The furnishings are worse than a $50 roadside motel. This is despite the management keep saying that they have spent millions of dollars on refurbishing the place. What's worse is that our door lock is... More

We ventured over to Tangalooma Island Resort for a few days with family, for my Son in Laws 30th birthday, with the whole family "in tow". What a wonderful few days of crystal clear water, clean beaches and plenty of events for grandchildren to adults. In 90 minutes you feel like you have traveled to Fiji. Obviously the Resort is... We stayed here for one night and came because we wanted to see and feed the dolphins. The island is beautiful and the beach great for swimming. I loved all of the activities they have planned every hour, and I loved the animal talks with the nature experts. The rooms were great, great view. The desert tour was also great.... More

I stay in the hotel room with view to the beach. No need for the air conditioning at night. There was no mosquito. The tour desk was helpful and make sure the activity is available from them otherwise most likely from tangatour. I also request for late checkout for 1 hour till 11 am. I am not acoholic drinker otherwise... More

My wife, and I went to Tangalooma Island Resort for the first time in November 2016, and I have to say that the location is beautiful, and is well worth a visit. We stayed in the Kookaburra Lodge, and our room was clean, tidy, and acceptable. We enjoyed our 2 night stay very much - apart from the first night... More

Stayed in Kookaburra Lodge - large clean comfortable room, bathroom and balcony. Food on the Island is quite expensive and not gourmet standard, but we didn't expect it to be. It was adequate for what we wanted for a two night break. We were given the option of having the room serviced or a voucher for a bottle of wine... More

Brisbane's best kept secret! We loved our weekend here. Beautiful clean rooms, (We stayed on the fourth floor of the Kookaburra Lodge) plenty of activities and food choices with more restaurants currently being built. Most staff were super friendly. My daughter is in a wheelchair and we had no problem getting her around. A great tropical resort which is close... More

To clarify; we only day visited and did not experience the accommodation; but , to spend big bucks and have to share the facilities with a couple of thousand "other" visitors [ not including the 1000 who were staying there ], who seem to be hellbent on getting pissed as quickly as possible,is akin to throwing your hard earned over... Hi BadBones, I think its fair to say that when you booked this day-trip to Tangalooma you were expecting and wanting something very different. However I have to disagree with your comparison of our resort to Disneyland or Las Vegas. We are a family-owned 3 1/2 star resort that proudly sits on the beautiful (and uncrowded) golden sands of Moreton... More
