This Hilton property is immaculately maintained. It was elegant, exceptionally clean and the facility and team processes were well organized. Remodeled within the past two years the rooms were small but well appointed. Highly recommend the premium rooms which offer exclusive pools, restaurants and amenities not available to other guests. Security monitors this closely! I can’t say enough about the beauty and experience of the water and beach. Calm and clear, clean and spacious or is the best we have experienced in the DR, Mexico, Cozumel and Jamaica. We snorkeled on our own each morning from the beach and around the pier seeing many fish as well as a manatee!! Good separation of family and adult only areas. The buffet and restaurants are very good - extra costs for better wines or lobster which we didn’t mind. Exclusive restaurants for premium guests were excellent. Also - get the butler service!! Our butler Danielo was amazing with making reservations for dinners and excursions as well as providing a morning cooler to beach or pool with our drinks of choice. He also surprised us many times with special treats including fruit trays, cocktails served in cantelopes, coconuts, sweet/salty kid snacks and lots of champagne and chocolate for momma! Other noteworthy staff were Blanca Shedrak and Francesca Lebron with guest services/concierge. In advance of our stay they addressed questions and made special arrangements ahead of time. We were delighted that Blanca took the time to greet us personally on arrival and introduce us to Danielo. Picasso was a joy and our son truly appreciated him running the batting cage each day so he could stay on top of baseball practice while we were away. We didn’t want to lose a full day off resort for excursions and Danielo our butler helped us research private options vs. large group tours to customize to our needs. We also took the snorkel trip out in the bay by the resort - incredibly affordable and we were amazed at the diversity of fishes. Our guide was awesome and toured us through Bayahibe afterward.…

Beautiful impeccable resort but it was truly about the sweet people that took care of us. Casandra and Darianny at the premium adult side bar were wonderful and fun as well as Priol and Rodolfo in the family side lobby services. Cecilia maintained our room wonderfully! The chef’s and assistance at the Hibachi restaurant were so fun and made us laugh! We would come back!

The ladies at the adult premium bar were great! Diana, Cassandra, Darianny and Priol taking pictures of us and loading our luggage everyone was excellente! Rene the front Manager made sure we where taken care of at check in. Gina was very helpful in deciding which tour to take. (Safari Dominican experience with a Dominican lunch) This resort does not skimp on any amenity. We are glad we chose the Hilton LaRomana. Will be back here.

Johanna and Cassandra are the best at the lobby bar. They are always happy, kind and remember their guests. You cannot find a better duo. Also, Jose Aquino was so kind when we arrived and was the best bellman! This resort is definitely worth coming back and I plan to.

We attended a conference and even though the resort was sold out, it is large enough that we weren't tripping over other people. There are many pools and the water park was by far the best! People of all ages were on the slides and lazy river. The food was pretty good - the duck at the French restaurant was my favorite.

Just got home from a lovely two weeks at the Hilton La Romana. What a beautiful place and one of the cleanest hotels I’ve stayed in in the Caribbean. Would like to give a shout out to Michael our butler, Angeline in the kids club and all of the daytime entertainment team, they all made our holiday truly amazing.

This has to be one of my favorite resorts of all time! We stayed 10 nights in the family premium partial ocean view room. My travel agent helped us get a nice room upgrade to the one bedroom suite, which was really nice and roomy! I don't think we had a bad meal. We tried all the restaurants and enjoyed them all. Our butler was Michael and he was amazing! He made all our dinner reservations, brought us fresh fruit everyday poolside or beachside and cooler full of our favorite drinks. The butler service is $199 for the week and worth every penny! If you can afford it, I highly recommend this service. My kids (5 and 4) went to the kids club several times and loved playing with Isabel. She is very kind and fun! They did daily face painting, crafts, games, and our favorite was the movie night on the beach with popcorn and cotton candy. Fernando was our concierge and was very friendly and helpful. He always came out of his way to make sure we were having a good time. The best beach and calm water. We had booked a couple Bali beds, at the pool and on the beach. They were $50 a day, we really enjoyed it. If you are considering this resort, BOOK IT! You'll have a great time. …

I recently experienced the best drinks ever at this bar of this hotel. The staff was highly skilled and friendly. They were knowledgeable about the drinks they were serving and made sure that everyone was having a great time. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting. I highly recommend this bar for its excellent drinks, perfect entertainment, and great staff. It truly was an amazing experience. Special thanks to Frank, Angel and Clary :)

Today we are going home. It was a beautiful 7 nights stay. I have to say that the resort was great, the people always serve you with a smile and always great you. The resort is very clean, the toilet near the reception has it's own person that her job is to clean the toilet, so basically she was there all the time. The food was OK, we found what to eat and were never hungry, our kids loved the food (12 and 10). Of course it's not a Michlen restaurant but for us it wasn't a problem. The restaurants are just OK not as fancy as for 6 Hilton Cancun or Dreams Plaja Mujeres, but as I said, it wasn't a problem for us. Breakfast was awesome. And if you want to eat healthy you can do it without any problem for the whole day. The beach is stunning, and the water and sand are perfect. Each day we spent on the beach!! No waves and no sea weed. The kids loved the water park and the pools. In my opinion the big minus was the that our room 4309 on the 3rd floor was not sound proof, it is on the last floor and the roof is probably from wood so basically you hear everything that is happening near you in other rooms, I couldn't sleep due to snoring of someone and I am not sure which room it was. I heard other guests saying the same. Also another minus is that in my opinion there isn't enough light in the room, so in the evening it's hard to find stuff in your suitcase. Other than that we always found a bed near the pool or the sea so for us it wasn't a problem. Also we didn't have any problems with smoking people. We didn't have premium, and we didn't feel that something was missing. The rooms were cleaned twice a day and were always clean and towles were changed. We did 2 excursions from the hotel: Monkey + Buggy Catalina island Both were perfect and highly recommended. Ask for the 10% of Hilton Honor coupons from the service desk before you book the excursion. We will definitely be back and next time for a longer stay. I added pictures from all the restaurants that are allowed with kids, we visited all of them. The shows that we liked: Michael Jackson highly recommended Disney Magic show (was ok) Circus We used FC Transfer from the airport and to the airport. Paid 60 usd. Highly recommend was always on time.…
