The Mayan Palace is part of the Vidanta Group, and only a part of the very large complex in this Riviera Maya property. The service, cleanliness, attention to detail, food were all very good. Room: We had a studio that is more like a hotel room without a kitchen. It also didn't have a coffee maker, so we brought Starbucks...

Just spent a week at the Mayan Palace. The service was remarkable at the restaurants, pool and room staff. Food quality was that of fine restaurants. We particularly enjoyed Nektar, Gong and Azur. We did the cooking class at Blue Fish and the Tequila Tasting at the Wine Bar. Definitely recommend!

Aquired this trip through Interval International as a getaway. They didn't mention that I had to attend a sales presentation, that takes up half your day, or I wouldn't get the discounts. Not very fond of the sales tactics. They don't like it when you say NO. The whole facility is made up of 5 hotels. The grounds are very...

After paying $80 by taxi to get to the resort we were told it was complementary but no one had told us. When asked if we could have taxi back to the airport we were told our rep will help us. Then we were told we would be paying a $75 resort fee each. Again no one had told us...

We stayed at the Mayan Palace in April and it was a wonderful resort. The staff was top-notch, the pool was beautiful and we had a great time. A few things that others have mentioned that cannot be ignored: You will walk a lot here. Our room was a mile from the pool. We could have taken a tram from...

Very disappointed with this resort. We were stuck 15 minutes from the pools or beach. If you weren't owners you were treated like lower class citizens, which I hate more than I can express. We are Marriott owners and would never buy into these time shares, because of that we were once again treated like crap!!! Pretty much told we...

Dear Guest: Thank you for taking the time to provide us your feedback about your recent stay with us. As one of the most successful companies in the Mexican tourism field, we clearly communicate the terms and conditions associated with accepting an invitation to our sales presentation. Everyone - at free will, attends and we appreciate their visit whether they...

The resort is very nice with a large pool (swim up bar!), nice gym, great spa, a good variety of restaurants, and decent rooms. You never really need to leave to have a nice vacation! The Cirque show and dinner are wonderful! Photos are of Cirque and dinner. The downside is that the sales people try to sell you on...

We used a family member's RCI points to book our room with a kitchen at the Vidanta Mayan Palace. My husband and I have been to Mexico several times. I'm a vegetarian, my husband isn't. Overall - Very pretty location. The vast majority of staff are very friendly and helpful, but avoid anything to do with timeshares unless you want...

A lush tropical oasis was my "home" for a week as a Instructor. This piece of paradise has world class amenities with the most friendliest service I have experienced. One can relax or do one of many activities planned by the Activities Personnel such as Beach Volleyball, early morning 4km run/ walk, Spanish classes, Zumba, activities for the whole family...
