Last time we came, we were with the family and everything went really well. This time it was just as couples. We enjoyed ourselves and spent a considerable amount of time out and about since we rented a car. The pools are great to hang out in the evening. Room was clean.

This is a time share. Don't be fooled by what they say! The resorts are beautiful and the pool is the best I've every seen. The room is adequate but certainly not luxury. There are NO amenities provided besides shampoo and lotion. I took along some Starbucks's instant coffee. It is recommended not to drink the water in the rooms...

Some friends and I went here for spring break. The highlight of the resort is definitely the pool, we got up early each day to reserve a cabana and then took full advantage of the happy hour and delicious drinks from the pool bar. The beach was pretty unswimmable and not all that pretty. I only ate at Havana Moon...

Pros: 1. Very efficient, courteous, and caring staff, gorgeous jungle like landscaping, Mayan style architecture, beautiful pools and common areas, and the convenience provided by boutique Jade. We were surprised by its delicious salads and reasonably priced breakfast staples which made it cost effective for a couple. 2. The efficient, courteous, and quick transportation by multi car shuttles. 3. Delicious food...

This was a wonderful holiday that we will happily remember. Our accommodation was excellent; plenty of space, full kitchen, comfortable bed, the maids attended twice daily and it was situated in the jungle which meant lovely walks to the pool, beach and amenities on the boardwalks while looking at the wildlife, trees and foliage. Monica our day maid, and Isamar...

Everything that everyone writes about the time share people is true. They bully you. Call you at 8:15 in the morning. Take the phone off the hook. Tell you that you are in breach of contract for going there. Ignore them. The beach is not accessible. It is full of rocks. We walked down to the Valentin resort two resorts...

This resort is amazing in all ways. Stood here for 7 days and will be going back. I highly recommend this resort. The food was amazing and the staff was very polite. The place is huge and they have colored coded trolley like shuttles.

This was our first time at this resort. We avoided the timeshare presentation as recommended by other reviewers. Friends of ours tied up half a day with their presentation. If you read other reviews there will not be many surprises. Pluses include: Very friendly staff (housekeeping, restaurants, concierge); Beautiful grounds; Nice room; Room service at a great price; Joy Squad...

We loved our time at the Mayan Palace last December and we can't wait to be back again. We stayed at the Grand Mayan 4 years ago but we didn't get the availability this time since we wanted a 2 bedroom suite. The Mayan Palace was not as fancy as the Grand Mayan but we had a wonderful time. The...
