We had a great restful vacation spent mostly on the beach with great service from Ruben, and crew. There are plenty of comfortable beach chairs, shade from palm trees, close for a cool dip in the pool. Mayan Palace rooms are fine, nothing extraordinary. We had great meals at good prices and other than beach/poolside lunch, did not eat anywhere...

Yes security is needed but, the sales pitch was over the top. If you do not buy a timeshare ,stand buy to be bullied When you go out to the front gate you once again will meet with timeshare gals. They will ASK you where you ARE GOING. Are you going to another timeshare presentation? Well ladies it is none...

As long as you don't mind the size of the place and the lack of a decent ocean swimming beach this place is for you. Also watch out for the timeshare pitch. You can say no to going and you wont get the incentives, but if you do go be prepared for a hard sell and then when you have...

We traded our time share to come to this resort. We have been to the Mayan Riviera a couple of times and love it. So, the pluses: The staff, all staff, are attentive, polite, helpful and gracious. Staff appear eager to be helpful in any way. Another plus, the time share accommodations were clean, neat, and well appointed. We even...

Visited with family (including kids) over Thanksgiving. The resort exceeded our expectations. The facilities are well-maintained and clean, decor and location is fantastic, service is excellent. All of the restaurants were unique and positive experiences. Try Del Lago for breakfast, Taco Break for a casual dinner and Nektar for a unique experience. Jade has a well-stocked store and good to-go...

Had to call maintenance the first morning. The shower would only turn on when the sink was turned on. Turn off the sink and the shower went off too. Weirdest thing I have ever seen. Building one or two are closest to the pools but the most dated.

Beautiful place with amazing amenities. My suggestion if your interested in purchasing is to say no to the first 2 or 3 sales people and you'll get the best deal. Our quote started at $68k and was $6000 by the time we had seen 5 sales people. 19 restaurants and a mile long pool are just some of the amenities.

This is coming from a dad, traveling with 6 people total, including 4 kids under the age of 11. We were debating to stay in the Mayan Palace or the Grand Mayan. Here's my take after a 1 week stay. Both resorts are on the same property so you can wander to both very easily via a beautiful network of...

The resort is beautiful but huge. On arrival you're given a little package with information by someone whose first language is not the same as yours and this is after travelling all day. Getting further information is a challenge - like which restaurant is open when or access to a menu. There is virtually no information provided in the room....

Wife & 3 Kids and Grandma/Grandpa – 2 Suites, Building 17 Mayan Palace This was the first (non) all-inclusive resort we’ve been too in Mexico in the past 10 years so I was skeptical in the beginning regarding how much $$$ we were going to spent but I was pleasantly surprised with bill at the end. I’ll share with you...
