The lodge is an overnight stop on a slow cruise of this scenic part of the Mekong River. The rooms are bungalows situated on a hillside overlooking the river and, while rustic, they are charming and perfectly adequate for a nights stay. The buffet dinner...More

I have gone on the Asian Oasis cruise twice--both times the route was from Huay Xei to Luang Prabang. It is the downriver cruise. Asian Oasis is a very professional company and handles all details such as prepayment, visas, etc very efficiently. The cruise itself...More

Hotel was in lovely situation and individual hut rooms were fine. Not plush but we did not expect that. Excellent buffet dinner and ok breakfast. As part of the upriver Luang Say cruise it is only a shame that you have so little daylight time...More

Hi, We are taking a cruise from Luang Prabang to Huay Xai in June. I know that your boats do not run during the month of June. However, is it possible to still stay overnight in the lodge in Pakbeng? We are a family of four. Thanks!
