Nice spot on a very narrow road. Clean but a bit loud, though that could just have been the particular guests that were there that night. Wonderful breakfast in a sunny room with a gorgeous view. Perfect bed & breakfast

Our family had a wonderful time here. The rooms were lovely, the hosts were so welcoming, and the Irish breakfast was outstanding! Since the Quiet Man Museum was closed when we visited, the hosts arranged a private tour and the guide was very knowledgeable. I highly recommend this Bed & Breakfast! The Garners

So we got the invite to a family wedding on New Years Eve, in Mayo, in December! My first feeling of excitement quickly subsided to panic. Where were we going to find a spare room on New Years without costing the world?! So onto the old internet to start the hunt. I quickly found a promising little B&B which seemed...

My family stayed in Michaeleen's Manor on New Years Eve. On the positive side it is really well located for attending functions in The Lodge and Ashford Castle. It is clean and well maintained. The owner was super efficient in his welcome and delivery of breakfast. The shower in our room was good and the room was lovely and warm....

Went on a trip to Cong Ireland to search out the locations for the film 'The Quiet Man' starring John Wayne and Maureen O'Hara , something we've wanted to do for a long time. I was not disappointed. The village of Cong is a wonderful place, so quaint with an abundance of local friendliness. Went into 'Pat Cohan's bar (where...

We had had a long day, and many of us faced a long day in transit when we arrived on Michaeleen's doorstep. The rooms were ready, the proprietor had the common room set up for the All-Irish football game, and she made the time to take photos for us. The cherry on top was that, while we were at dinner,...

Spent 2 nights with Jerry and his wife. They are busy folk but they make sure to talk to you and give you information for touring around Cong and the surrounds. By accident, Jerry was also our tour guide of the Village of Cong and the places that were filmed in Cong in the movie. He is an encyclopedia on...
