Ok you get what you pay for, our stay was only £110 for two nights including breakfast, our room was very basic but clean and the beds comfortable. Breakfast was better than our expectations, usual continental but with hot bacon eggs etc. The hotel is on las Ramblas which for some is a bonus others a negative as it's quite an intimidating street especially after dark, beware of pickpockets and thieves .
Came here on our bike trip. They are very bike friendly. The rooms are spacious. They seemed to only turn the heat on at night which wasn’t really a problem since it was warm most of the day. The breakfasts were great. They had lots of coffee, eggs, bacon and the usual Spanish breakfast foods. There was also a common room which was nice to hang out in.
Quaint, budget hotel, but clean and right on Las Ramblas in the centre of it all. Just watching the passing parade, strolling to the harbour (200 metres), the Gothic quarter (300 metres), the markets, restaurants, cafes, tapas bars or some of Gaudi's creations. Breakfast is provided (basic) and the staff were eager to please, although some Spanish does help. We found it perfect for our exploration of Barcelona and stayed there three times during our holiday in Spain, with the very efficient Metro within walking distance (with suicases) which links with the fast trains to Madrid, San Sebastian, Tarragona etc. We will definitely stay there if we go back to Barcelona.
Lovely clean room ,with a nice view, easy street parking, good. Friendly reception ,multi lingual, easy to find. Plenty of local restaurants available within a very short walk.. Nice walk around the town.
No complaints. Good lounge/library upstairs. Breakfast good value. We arrived and the town was in fiestas which added to the fun but also the noise levels. Breakfast starts a bit late if you want an early start.
