First time in Switzerland and pleasantly surprised by this property. Selected this hotel because of the amenities with free breakfast/parking. Close enough to Zurich but much less in cost. Hotel appears slightly dated upon arrival however, decor in lobby is very modern. Great coffee and tea station, plenty of varieties. Check in is simple. Hotel exchanges euros for franks without...

Was travelling on business and stayed at the Sonnental for 3 nights. It had all amenities and the bonus of use of the Spa for guests. Restaurants within the hotel campus was great and not over crowded. Located not too far from Zurich, easy access to the train. I would consider staying here again.

Chosen because of walking distance to Samsung Hall. Google Earth showed at least two other restaurants nearby, neither of which exist - this is next to a semi-industrial neighbourhood so don't expect much life or activity after dark in the immediate vicinity.

The rooms are small but perfect in comfort and decor. The staff are proactive and knowledgeable. The spa is a highlight with an outdoor hot bath. The location is near the airport, walking distance from Duebendorf Centre.

We used this hotel for work as we were doing a job at another hotel. It was perfect for us . Free car parking (ideal for a van) . We were in the main building on the ground floor. It had all the things we needed. Large shower even with its own rubber duck, large bed with 2 duvets although...

I stay here any time I'm in Zurich. It's comfortable, close to transit, and as free parking so I can leave my car and head into the city on the train. Breakfast is superb. The wellness centre is just the best thing after a long flight. It's a bit expensive for being so far outside the city, but still well...

Convenient place near to tram and train stations. Wifi connection at hotel a bit difficult to connect as it keeps on requesting password and username every you want to login despite prior registration and saving it.

I stayed here for a single night on business. I'm very glad it was not more than one night. The room was basic and clean, but there was no tea or coffee making facilities. There was a selection of satellite TV channels; several of which were British. The "gym" facilities advertised on the website were laughable; a collection of aged...

This hotel is very well suited for business travellers who need to be in that area. Nice clean rooms with all basic requirements. Matrasses are soft though. Fast internet. Friendly staff. The restaurant is really good.

This is a hotel that is better now then when I last stayed here a few years back. Rooms are nice, but small. Bathroom was surprisingly large, almost same size as the small room. Hotel claims to have fitness room, but that is not really what they have. The have a stairmachine, a bike, and a rowing machine. that is...

It's real convenience when you don't need to travel into the city! And only 10 minutes away from the airport or the exhibition centre. Maybe that's why the Sorell Hotel Sonnental is so popular. We have a wonderfully flexible hall available for banquets and seminars. A generous 300 m2 wellness oasis guarantees relaxation. Just as relaxing: 100 free parking spaces! ... more   less
