Nestled amidst scenic beauty, the Horse Country Resort, Congress and Spa offers a plethora of amenities and engaging activities that guests have called out as highlights, complemented by a welcoming atmosphere that many find inviting. While the staff's friendliness and professionalism frequently earn rave reviews, some travelers have noted room conditions and maintenance as areas needing improvement. Mixed feelings arise regarding the value, with concerns about food quality and cleanliness being weighed against the cost. Additionally, the resort's seafront location, while picturesque, has drawn some criticism.

I decided to stay at this Resort in April, after much hesitation about past reviews, a girl from the administration convinced me, formulating a "book early" offer for me and my 8-year-old daughter that I absolutely could not refuse.
I say this because it is right to relate the cost to the service, of course you can not demand gold and pay it like silver.
So, very beautiful location, well-kept, rich in vegetation with paths full of plants, flowers, banana groves, palm trees .. really nice to see.
The main pool is excellent, not trivial, with 3/4 depth measures suitable for everyone, from children of months to adults.
Plus a classic rectangle pool to make even a bit of pools for sportsmen and not.
There's also a small one for dogs, but I think it wasn't operational.
The sea is difficult Rating: initially disappointed.
You private beach of 'hotel without paying the cots (great done!) with bar and attached restaurant, shower and toilet, dog area adjacent fenced, but the sea... Do not expect the postcards of Sardinia... but with the days I appreciated it... Few people, calm, warm and with dolphins that show up, it is also true that algae emit an unpleasant smell at times, of sulfur, but it is nature, wild and must be accepted... at least I did... the sea and clean, in my opinion I did not mind putting myself there to bathe Maria to sunbathe...
Rooms: there are cottages for those who want and have dogs, while classic rooms and not a hotel... I took the standard, classic, comfortable bed, dated furniture, but enough, shower cubicle "too" small, in fact the shower cubicle is broken because of cheap material and an adult who moves can not wash in a 60x60 without destroying the box.
Restaurant: good, varied, obviously we are not in gourmet mode, but I must admit that I was surprised and even my daughter enjoyed it... I invite more fruit for breakfast, for the rest I give a nice hearty 7 (always remembering what I paid!)
Animation very valid, Ilaria and Ferdi the sweetest, but all good and you see that sleep cohesive and close-knit.
I conclude with a note for the manager, I think her name is Alice, I was struck by my request at the reception she intervened and resolved it and then, on Saturday, with many people in the restaurant, was on the spot and helped the waiters and freed tables etc., really a demonstration of who in addition to organizing, also cooperates and sets a good example.
Congratulations.
Negative note: if the water is not drinkable, and there is nothing within a radius of kilometers, I must allow you to buy it at an honest price, not 1.5 euros at the half-liter bar, or at the machines put a currency exchange and water must never be missing... otherwise it is incorrect.
Putting a free or super cheap dispenser on a basic good like water is a duty for a self-respecting Resort, otherwise drinking water in the room.
Otherwise there is room for improvement but my vote is very positive.

Reception staff friendly, fast and ready for any questions you ask.
Rooms:
Hotel Castello. Dated structure, but with spacious rooms and pool view and nice terrace. Cleaning girls kind and helpful. Clean rooms perfectly. We need to review the company that provides the laundry. Many stained towels (but this does not depend on the structure). Only sore note the bathroom. The shower door comes off, the
Doccino loses water, the mixer does not work so the water changes temperature continuously for no reason, the shower door broken.
Structure overall beautiful, green everywhere and well maintained, huge spaces and very quiet
Swimming pools
two beautiful pools, but need maintenance (every morning the lifeguards were cleaning the pool grates with the pressure washer... it would be ideal to do so at least when customers are not present)
Spa
friendly staff, the spaces need some restoration work (doors that do not close or close badly, peeling walls, cleaning)
Horse riding
huge, but not very courteous staff and it almost seems you bother when you ask for advice or want to book a service.
Restaurant
discreet food with a good choice. Despite reviews from friends I have to say that the food was good and plentiful, maybe I would use less butter and more olive oil to make the dishes less heavy. It takes very little to make the buffet perfect. For breakfast I would add more fruit.
Overall if you want to spend 3 days relaxing without big pretensions is recommended. Very few precautions would be enough to make the structure shine and ensure that the experience is perfect (overall restoration of structures (for example against 60s office ceiling, shower maintenance, personal courtesy riding). Definitely will be back, value for money deserves and the staff perfect.

Weekend spent with my daughter for one night. The structure has very high potential, beautiful views and immersion in beautiful greenery. The quality of the buffet food was not great but I don't expect excellence in the "buffet" system, what is certain is that some more qualitative attention could have been given (we had dinner, breakfast and lunch) acceptable room, with a few specks of dust scattered here and there; very narrow shower and bathroom without window or fan; If I may be allowed to give some advice, the cushions that were used as "decoration" and not covered by a cotton pillowcase would be appropriate to abolish for reasons of hygiene. For one, maximum two nights I must say that it can be done but if I have to think about spending several nights in a row I most likely wouldn't go back. Staff always friendly and helpful. Super positive note instead for the riding stables! My daughter had fun with the pony and the sweet dogs they have. Horses kept very well, it seemed like a real happy oasis! Horseback ride along the beautiful beach.. I think we will return because the stables and the manager really treated us very well so thanks to them and see you next time😘

Let's start with what is positive by saying first of all that we stayed in half Pension hotels.
Friendly and helpful staff. The cleanliness of the rooms is ok. with the exception of the glasses and this applies a bit throughout the hotel. Maintenance has shown care when required on two occasions. THE garden very nice and well maintained, the same for the pool and the beach. Fair distance from where we were to the beach (about 700 meters with GPS)
In the rooms you feel the lack of shelves in the bathrooms and a drying rack worthy of the name. There is only one wire attached between two poles in what should be the garden to watch out for because full of thorny spies also on the ground.
There are no mosquito nets and in a place like this so haunted is amazing. I haven't heard of any treatment. Do not tell me that it is the area and nothing can be done because I have been to other reclamation areas in Italy and at least the mosquito nets and one treatment a week have done it in all the places where I have been.
The beach is well maintained, you should be a little more punctual in the removal of seaweed on the shore. Algae so many and constant and the worst is the smell you smell and I do not understand why if I move to the sides of the Resort beach after a few tens of meters it disappears.
Catering a really sore key. Starting with bread that looks like bubblegum to little variety of poor quality foods. The scarce fruit every night apples and alternately watermelon or melon.Never seen a seasonal fruit such as plums, peaches, apricots.... Those who want to eat must pay 35 euros each for canteen food, better go out! Repetitive breakfast and poor quality both for the aforementioned bread but also briosches and more. Resort seven km from the milk and dairy producer in the area and milk comes from Brescia and yogurt from Mantua. It's better to go to the alternative of the pizzeria and grill near the riding school. All declared four stars....? Except for my prologue to the review I was very disappointed.

We stayed one night for a relaxing weekend getaway. The resort is surrounded by greenery... and what peace! The room was clean, the bed comfortable and the silence allowed us a restful sleep. We took advantage of the Poseidonya Spa service, which is truly regenerating and the relaxation room is excellent where you can sip various herbal teas and teas while munching on something.
The private beach is beautiful, the sea is oily thanks to the gulf which shelters from the wind.
We had half board, dinner included a wide choice of starters, first courses, second courses, side dishes and even desserts!
For breakfast, equally, there are different options from sweet to savory.
Special mention to the focaccia eaten in the pool bar, freshly made with aubergines, mozzarella and raw ham, highly recommended!

We stayed in this property (4 stars!!!) for a weekend from Friday to Sunday.
The structure on the outside looks good...well looked after, clean and surrounded by greenery.
Inside, however, it looks old and dirty. We booked a 4**** Superior Relax and Spa Room at a cost of €420 (2 people with half board). The offer included half board and a pass for entry to the spa. (because if we booked the relaxation and spa room we are entitled to only one pass?? Why wasn't this communicated to us upon our arrival?)
The small and not very clean room is not equipped with a mosquito net (there is a garden outside) and the bathroom has a bathtub and no window. The TV is not working and despite 4 reminders, the problem was never resolved while the shower was encrusted with limescale and no water came out. After our reminder it was replaced by the maintenance technician.
Breakfast is plentiful with a choice of sweet and savory... but if you arrive a little late you won't find much because it isn't replaced. Dinner is a buffet and is quite varied (the first courses are inedible because they are overcooked)
The staff is not up to managing such a structure. Disorganized and does not provide the necessary information. We were the ones who learned by chance that the buffet dinner could be replaced by the barbecue at the Saloon a few steps from the village, in the Spa they didn't offer us anything they could do (massages etc etc.).
The restaurant waiters are friendly, but few to be able to handle so many customers. If they were suffering in May, what will it be in August?
We did the horseback excursion in the riding school next to the structure. The excursion lasts an hour, passing through the pine forest and the beach. Unfortunately, the beach is very dirty and hasn't been cleaned in a long time. Plastic everywhere brought by storm surges. It's definitely not the facility's job to clean up, but it's not a good business card for tourists who pay to see trash everywhere.
Then we complain if the tourist doesn't return to Sardinia!!!
Not recommended!! Quality ratio (I repeat 4 stars) price (€420.00) not adequate.

What can I say except that we are in a campsite and not a hotel! Certainly with rooms but make no mistake, it is indeed a campsite! We arrive and we are told that we have to pay €6/day per person to go to the swimming pool, not included in the initial reservation price - it's off to a strong start 💪 we tell them, too bad, we won't go to the swimming pool... and well not possible you have to pay anyway... ok ok... But great lord that they are they tell us that the deckchairs and parasols are free 😂😂 the room must date from 1980 the bathroom is all damaged - dirty joints , traces of mold on the ceiling, broken tiles and just a miniature shampoo to act as shower gel for 2 😶 - the floor is not clean and the terrace hasn't been swept for ages! No equipment in the room such as glass or ashtray for example - just a kettle with 2 plastic cups - then one of the swimming pools is just not cleaned with a skimmer which spits out previously clogged dirt all day long - 0 maintenance and the other I think you have to come at 9am to hope to have a deckchair because yes here people leave their towels all day as soon as they have one! Breakfast… freeze-dried coffee and powdered orange juice all in a canteen-style common room with no exterior and noisy… all day and all evening until 11:35 p.m. last night it's a funfair with people who scream into the microphone non-stop ✋and it doesn't sound like good taste in terms of animation 😬 and music... Benny Hill..but where have we ended up? certainly not in a 4-star “resort and spa” hotel (lol) but definitely in a 2-star campsite with rooms at €200 per night 🥲🥲 too bad we can’t give a zero because it’s really worth it not even an airport hotel 🙄

We booked a room in the Resort for 3 people (2 adults + 1 child) , arrived at 15 as expected check in we put our bags in the room and go down to the pool, we ask the lifeguards 3 deck chairs and 1 umbrella but they can not find 1 available because they are also occupied by people who are only in the pool for the "day".
At 20 we decide to go to dinner and having full Pension we went to the restaurant, there we are rejected by the girl at the entrance saying that she knew that we had booked at the "Saloon" (until then I did not even know what it was), however we walk (it is not close) we arrive there and even there we are rejected telling you that surely there was a mistake, then we return to the reception and they tell us to tell the girl at the entrance of the restaurant that we should have dinner there and after more than half an hour between one thing and another we manage to sit down to eat.
The Disney show begins and there nothing to say, in fact my daughter had a great time.
We go to bed around midnight but at 3.15 the alarm sounds to evacuate the building (in the afternoon there was a fire right next to the structure) , so we wake the child and we all go to the reception where there is not a soul! We stay with many other people thrown there 45 minutes where no one knew what to do or how to move until 2 guards arrived who told us that someone smoking in the room triggered the alarm.
We return to the room at 4 obviously agitated and with the child very scared.
The next morning we still had to clear the room by 10 am (without having slept since 4) and during check out I asked if it was possible to keep the room a little longer to try to rest having a daughter with disabilities who would need it receiving a negative Response for the fact that other guests would arrive anyway that it was not their fault (because rightly not having anyone to let you out during an alarm respecting an evacuation plan is normal).
We have breakfast in the restaurant and the girl from the night before laughs that this time she found our room in the list (imagine my desire to joke).
We go to the pool putting our bags in the car tired and tried, at 12 30 then we decide to eat and leave immediately dead from sleep.
For 1 night we spent 280 with dinner breakfast and lunch, the place is very nice and the Disney show pleased us, I would have expected much more attention in service.

A dream that has been repeated for 4 years now!!!..my wife and I (a couple of "kids") consider it our holiday "home"...given the familiarity that has been established with everyone by the village head Roberto to the cleaning lady and this is thanks to the friendliness and helpfulness offered...always very careful to fulfill every little request. What can I say about the village...an oasis full of greenery and well cared for...maybe a little more maintenance on the pedestrian paths wouldn't hurt!!!...the rooms and services are very satisfactory...the ones on the ground floor with the patio are nice covered by a bougainvillea where you can relax and enjoy your coffee... also the possibility of being able to wander around for lunch and dinner in the various themed restaurants (beach, chip shop, pizzeria, grill) without ever getting bored in the village... in conclusion. .this year we noticed an extra "caress" both at the Paguro restaurant on the beach and at the Grill and from the service of the dining room staff... always very attentive... as well as the cleaning staff at the Ribòt... the only flaw For my wife, Arborea yogurt was missing for breakfast!!! ahahaha...I wish everyone a happy holiday and see you next year to all the people we had the pleasure of meeting in this splendid facility

Nice place surrounded by greenery that creates a nice atmosphere of serenity, beautiful and comfortable pools (Recommend to arrive early so you can find sun loungers / deckchairs).
Various recommended activities, such as horseback riding.
As for the restaurants, having included only breakfast in the Reservation, the other meals were obviously for a fee.
Bad restaurant by the sea, Paguro, for lunch there are only two options of only appetizer and only second and is too simplistic.
The restaurant staff unpleasant and rude, complete with comments about customers.
Bad value for money.
The pizzeria, nice location and good pizza, but slow service and tables not cleared with leftover pizza.
Instead breakfast buffet, discreet.
To avoid these inconveniences, we preferred to eat outside the Resort.
The room was fine, comfortable bed, clean, the air conditioner was there but at the same time there was not.
