Been going to The Devonshire for more years than I care to remember, albeit not often these days. It is as good (better, actually) than it's ever been. Whether for a quick early evening pint, or a meal in the excellent restaurant, I've always been made to feel welcome. Always a couple of good real ales available. Dining is not...

Booked in for a weekend trip with friends as my wife had been before and recommended it. Arrived on Friday afternoon and checked in, note that as this a pub not a hotel they advertise that normally it is closed between 3 and 6. Warm welcome and help with luggage offered. Bar area and outside space (terraced garden) obviously styled...

Stayed her for one night whilst on a work trip to Yeovil. I arrived around 6pm, had a couple of Peronis in the garden in the sunshine, then dinner in the pub. Great food and also a yummy breakfast. On a work trip it's always important that I sleep well, and I had a very comfy and sound night's sleep...

A really nice country pub in quiet village with a great restaurant and in a good location for exploring. Nice touches like dvd players in the rooms so we could play a dvd for our toddler and very friendly service. A very relaxed home from home.

i stayed here for a couple of days whilst visiting BIBIC in Langport with my 10 year old daughter. I could have asked for no better. Beautiful room, lovely staff and the most delicious food. We arrived late and the kitchen was closed, but reopened for us with no fuss. The Thai chicken salad, duck and all the food on...

Great small country hotel nice room comfortable bed, modern bath room lots of hot water. Noise travels upstairs for the bar and restaurant so if you are a light sleeper could be a problem , Only thing that let the place down was the food we had organic beef burgers and sent them both back as they smelt rotten which...

Stayed here for two nights on business. Room was clean and very comfortable (although I'm not a huge fan of the matting-style carpet). Food in the restaurant/bar downstairs is really very good indeed, good sized portions and very tasty. Service is very good. The organic sausages are delicious!! Cooked breakfast looks appetising too - although I had to be away...

This was a weekend for a birthday treat. The hotel is smart and well furbished. It is a comfortably furnished bar, restaurant and hotel. It has been well thought out with a separate entrance for the hotel at the rear. There is limited parking, but plenty on the village green. The village itself is very picturesque with a small church...

I cannot praise and recommend this beautiful hotel and restaurant enough! A hidden gem. I booked all of the rooms out for my bridal party the weekend of my wedding and it truly was the most wonderful place to stay. It has beautiful interiors, amazing staff and a wonderfully relaxed approach where nothing is any trouble. A massive thank you...
