Sadly, we didn't stay at the Hotel this year, although we enjoyed two wonderful long long lunches, with Tzeni and Takis welcoming use like family. The lower verandah with the beautiful trees as shade, with views across The Aegean Sea, set the scene for our long lunch. Tzeni offered cocktails, one of her specialities, very refreshing. The choice of authentic...

Many others have rated this hotel highly and I agree with their comments. This family run hotel is across a narrow road from the famous Vatera beach - a 7km stretch of shingle (Lesvos is volcanic) with very clear water. The hotel's amenities are a little basic- the bedrooms could be a little more comfortable, but the breakfasts are lovely...

Lovely family-run hotel in a quite location; nice beach with crystal clear sea; welcoming and friendly stuff; small churches, archeological sites, and hot springs located in the close vicinity; good connection to the old town Polichnitos by taxi, and to the capital Mytilini by bus.

I have returned to this Paradise for my fifth visit in as many years to once again recharge my batteries! The hotel is perfectly situated in a quieter area of Vatera Beach, directly overlooking the Aegean Sea. The skies are blue, the sea crystal clear, sunny days, beautiful moonlit nights..... What more could you want from Paradise? Perhaps a view...

We stayed at this Hotel in June, and it really is a lovely small hotel in the most beautiful part of Vatera Beach. It lived up to our expectations and more. Our room was large & clean at the front of the Hotel with a lovely balcony overlooking the sea- it was perfect, we could hear the waves lapping gently...

Spending the first half of our honeymoon in Vatera Beach Hotel was a great decision. The cordiality of the place and the sea being so near catch you the moment you arrive. In additon to the simple but great facility, thanks to our incredibly kind and friendly hosts, it was a wonderful stay.

Located on Vatera Beach of Lesvos, Greece. We visited as a family with 8 years old daughter. The place is relaxing, quite and peaceful environment. It is family run, medium budget hotel. Owners are very friendly and fully dedicated on wellness and pleasure of their guests. The place is suitable for children as well. The beach is the best one...

We were staying in Petra but spent one night at the Vatera Beach Hotel. What a lovely gem of a hotel. The owners of the hotel are lovely friendly people and were very helpful. The hotel was immaculate and felt homely with nicely furnished rooms. The front room balconies overlooking the sea were amazing and we could have stayed there...

Vatera region is the best place for swimming in Lesbos. The sea is incredible clear. Certainly this is the best hotel in this region. We have never seen such kind of a manager or owner in a hotel. Well educated, intellectual and friendly brother-sister. They are environmentalist and very sensitive about recycling. Location is wonderfull, especially the sitting area under...

Vatera is a nice place where you can reach after an hour drive from the center of the island, Mytillini. Do not expect too much from here as it is the same all around the island. Beach is with small stones and quiet. The sea is not that swimmer friendly place especially if you are visiting with your children. There...
