This hotel had not opened all their facilities when we stayed, so we found that very disappointing, but they did make an effort to recompense for this. The pool was closed and the restaurant was only operating in a basement function room. The room and bathroom was very small but the Trabocchi coast is very beautiful. When the restaurant opened on the terrace on our last night it was a much better experience. You can walk across the road to a private pebble beach and a lovely walkway along the coast. The old part of Ortona is charming to visit.

When I walked into LCDT I immediately relaxed, it has that affect on you, I was with a large group but it did not feel crowded. The rooms are beautiful, minimalist, all white with clean, spacious bathrooms. The food is delicious, breakfasts are plentiful, the only thing I would recommend is a coffee/tea maker in the rooms. The hotel is situated with a gorgeous view of the Adriatic and other restaurants are just a 10 minute walk along the beach pathwway away. I wanted to luxuriate in my room, it was that airy and comfortable but we had a packed itinenary. There are plenty of places in the hotel to sit outside and breath in the fresh air. Just lovely, I want to go back.

We traveled in October 2019 but were unable to write a review as lost sign on and password. We chose to visit the Trabocchi - restaurants out on the pier. This hotel had parking, We drove here upon landing in Roma. The rooms were lovely and the hotel common areas were beautiful as well. We rested and had dinner in their restaurant. Everything was delicious. The breakfast buffet was spectacular.

I forgot to review this when I was actually there in early March, so I guess better late then never. The hotel was in one word: stunning. It’s decorated in that rustic white wash style and when you first walk in you immediately feel relaxed. The hospitality was amazing, great staff, wonderful food. The bed, very comfortable, the bathroom was very clean and well appointed. I would have given it full five star rating but two things were a problem. 1) the property albeit completely beautiful was located right on a hwy that had large trucks and really fast cars speeding by every few seconds, so if you want to walk offsite, it’s really scary as there is no sidewalk.... not recommended. 2) the property has not one soft surface to absorb any noise, not in the rooms, not in the hallways, you can literally hear everything, even your neighbours alarm clock at 6am. There is no carpet, area rug or soft headboard to buffer “ living “ noises. I even stayed in one day and tried to nap and at around 2pm, well that was impossible too, as the maid was vacuuming two floors up. I heard everything. Even people walking in the stairwell, before they got in the hallway.... One more thing, in regards to energy efficiency: Five stars for that too, they had motion sensors in the stairwells, hallways and rooms, so if you’re in there, the lights would turn on and if you weren’t, they would turn off. I wish more hotels in Canada would have that.

For the price we paid, I couldn't believe how lovely this hotel was. It's all completely white and a modern, minimal style. Our spotlessly clean room had a great terrace with a wonderful view of the sea. There's also a large pool plus a kids pool at the back of the hotel. If you want easy access to a beach, I'd say this isn't the place for you as the road you need to cross is quite busy and a walk away from the hotel itself. However, by car it's only a couple of minutes. Breakfast was very varied but I did find the breakfast room itself a little clinical and sparse. Also, access to the back of the hotel, where there are parking spaces, is free for anyone to enter which isn't ideal, I would say. However, I'd recommend this hotel as we had a very pleasant stay.

This high end hotel is a gem. Everything was perfect from the helpful staff, excellent food and Chef and waiters. All the staff are highly trained it was obvious from the moment of check in. They were awesomely attentive but not overly and nothing was too much to ask for. The cuisine in restaurant just topped it all off ...what an amazing Chef. Full marks ✅✅✅ The hotel is only 3 years old and the fit out was top of the range. I’d rate it best in the area 100%.

We spent 3 days here during our trip to visit family in Abruzzo and were extremely pleased. The staff was wonderful, pleasant and accommodating--from the front desk staff, to the bartender, housekeepers, waitstaff, and lifeguards. The views of the sea from our balcony were just astounding. We slept with the balcony door open to get the sea breezes. There were NO mosquitoes. I had the most amazing nights sleep here. The hotel beach access is a stroll south, down a woodsy staircase that switchbacks into a bamboo grove. It was quite magical in its own way. For travelers who want more direct access to the beach--or people who have trouble walking /taking stairs-- this is probably not the best venue since it is a bit of a trek to get to the spiaggia. Colazione (breakfast) was included and was extensive. We asked them if we could bring our breakfast up to the beautiful terrace. Although they do not serve breakfast on the terrace, accommodated our request and provided a tray to take our food and drink. Just behind the beach, there is a little gravel path that you can walk from beach to beach. Down the road at Rocco Mancino, there is a spot to rent SUP and Kayak.

Wow! What a fantastic hotel all around. The rooms are very nice and very comfortable. Blackout shades and good air con assure a good nights rest. The staff is incredible!!! They are so nice and polite and helpful. Donaldo went out of his way several times during our one week stay to help us and always with a huge smile. The girl who works during the day as well as the rest of the staff are top notch. Even housekeeping is fantastic! And the dinner! Yum! Hands down the best ravioli I’ve ever had. The prices are very fair and the quality is very high. There is a huge pool that my family loved. There is also a baby pool. The rocky beach is a very short walk (under 5 minutes) and the sandy beach is about an10 minute walk. Great location yet quiet and scenic. Please do yourself and your family a favor and stay at this wonderful hotel.
