We approached Orpheus with high expectations and we had a great week. I'm going to focus my review on two experiences that surprised us (in a very good way). First, we enjoyed our Dining With The Tides experience more than expected. It sounded a little hokey, a table set off from the other diners with a private server. In fact,...

Dear WalkTalkTravel Thank you for your helpful review. We are very proud of the food and service that our culinary and restaurant teams provide. Our signature dining with the tides is truly an amazing experience, seated under the stars on the jetty with barramundi, sharks and eagle rays gliding underneath. Having six delicious courses customised to your preference and paired...

Orpheus is a lovely place to holiday for a short time and is hard to fault. The positives are the pristine beaches (when the tide is in) , lovely renovated beachfront shacks , fabulous food which is very adaptable to suit clients needs and dietary requirements and finally the staff who are also fabulous (although the island is small so...

If you are reading this, you are perhaps considering making a reservation . My advise: just do it! On first inspection, Orpheus may seem expensive, but remember almost everything is included: all food and drinks (spirits excluded), laundry, water sports (scuba is extra) so a stay here might turn out to be not such bad value! Maximum capacity I understand...

I will say the refurbished southern rooms and suites are certainly a standout, and only steps from the white sandy beach! From all...

We found Orpheus on Google maps while trying to find a romantic island getaway for our honeymoon. The "All Loved Up" brochure looked too good to be true but we thought let's take a chance. It was above and beyond anything we could have imagined! Staff were extremely friendly and somehow remembered even the tiniest details to make our stay...

Thank you mmaiyam for choosing us for your honeymoon! We are so pleased that you enjoyed your stay. The Loved Up package certainly is indulgent with French champagne, chocolate dipped strawberries, spa treatments and our signature dining with the tides experience! We are all looking forward to welcoming you back for your 1st anniversary! Warm regards, Jennifer

We just spent 5 nights at Orpheus Island over Easter, which we thoroughly enjoyed. I agree with all the positive comments from other reviewers about the high quality of the staff, the accommodation, the food, the helicopter travel, the location and the activities. I'm going to see if I can write a review that doesn't simply repeat everything that other...

We were lucky enough to spend three amazing nights on Orpheus Island but next time we will stay longer. From the moment we entered the Nautilus hangar, we were treated like royalty and never lifted a finger to do anything. Arriving at the Island is hard to put into words, the helicopter leans over slightly, makes a right turn and...

If you are considering visiting Orpheus Island I suggest you go! The food was amazing the scenery was great and the staff went above and beyond our expectations. There is plenty to do, or if you prefer, you can sit, relax and watch the sunset! It must be one of Queensland's best kept secrets, however it is worth discovering.

From touch down to take off, our stay on Orpheus Island was perfect. We snorkelled, went scuba diving, fishing and hiking around the island, and there was still lots of things to do when we had...

We travelled with a group of friends and from the moment we are arrived, we were overwhelmed by the picture perfect surroundings and tranquillity of the island.
