Fantastic experience. Do as much or as little one likes. With a maximum of 30 guests at any given time, this is a trip that will stay with us for a long time. The staff is fantastic and the food unbelievable. The corals are also a must.

Booking and Pre-arrival. The team on the booking desk was excellent to deal with, very timely responses to questions, and always going that bit further than I expected. Jade, Suzanne, and Renee from the reservation department did an amazing job all round. 5 out of 5. Arrival. The transfer out to the island was by helicopter from the Townsville airport,...

Orpheus Island impressed and exceeded expectations from the initial contact months before our arrival right through our departure after a several day stay. The Orpheus staff made the reservation process incredibly easy and personal despite the time difference and all the logistics of arrival and departure(including helicoptering on and off Orpheus)were handled professionally and executed flawlessly. Orpheus is an incredibly...

What a trip! Firstly I will say from the moment we arrived we felt relaxed. We arrived at the island via helicopter and were greeted by management, Ross and Jen, who are absolutely lovely. We were also met by another couple who were flying out, they were so happy but very disappointed to be leaving, they told us 'they didn't...

a secluded island resort off the coast of the great barrier reef, this is a place worth visiting. The five-star review comes with some caveats. The "5" is due to the beauty, the seclusion, the food, and the amazing staff. the rooms while spacious are NOT luxurious. they are more beachy in nature and the bathrooms are somewhat poor, at...

Thank you so much for everything. I had such a great time with you over the last 5 days. The effort put in by the staff and the chefs to accommodate me being vegan was greatly appreciated. I was so sad to leave orpheous island and it's friendly, happy vibe. The activities were amazing including the best snorkelling you'll ever...

The view is magnificent and what makes the island even more special are the staff. The attention to detail like observing food allergies and the housekeepers always ensuring the room had everything we wanted and more. The meals were works of art and Jen, who ran the walking tour, has a wealth of history and knowledge. Liana gave a fantastic...

From the moment I boarded the helicopter for the scenic flight to get there to the moment I left, all was just perfect. The small resort, the island, the fringing reefs, the fish -- everything is simply beautiful. Being such a small resort you are sure to meet other interesting people which adds to the charm. I loved the freedom...
