I'm really shocked by some of these reviews for this place. John and his wife have been really accommodating and set me up with a nice one-man tent on the beach for 200 pesos. It's a laid back, chill vibe here; food can take some time but it's good (the Filipino breakfast is portioned a little small, go for the...

We stayed for 1 night and found the rooms at 600 peso reasonable. Clean room, fan (no towels), shared bathroom (no hot water). The situation is great, right on the beach and an easy walk/tricycle into town. The food is very good and service exceptional - very attentive staff and helpful owner. Would definitely recommend.

We stayed at JJ's for 4 nights in total, choosing a private room with shared bathroom, 600pesos per night - worked out cheaper than getting two beds in the dorm, (350 pesos per person). The room was quite basic but clean. The wifi was only available in the front restaurant and was very slow. The location is great and the...

A small tent for get more money. The price is never the same for everybody. They give the price when they see your face. It's unfair! The...

Stopped off for a drink here whilst touring round the island, we noticed the sign JJ's cafe, bar and restaurant + internet access! This was brilliant as we needed to check out our onward travel plans! So you would think! We purchased our drinks and politely asked for the wifi password, only to be told, we weren't allowed to use...

Unfortunately we didnt stay here over night but would have loved to! (My dad lives on the island so we stayed with him most the duration of our trip), we did grab a bite to eat here though and they had a super good turkey/chicken sandwich with great potato wedges. The staff was super friendly, and the beach was great...

Arrived there with no booking and there were no rooms available for me and my friend so we have been offered to stay in a tant on the beach which was amazing! Beautiful white sand beach, hammocks and palm trees! After that we moved to a room which was nice and clean and had a very comfortable stay. The stuff...

We rented 4 beds in the dormitory for 3 nights. The room was very spacious and cozy. We loved the place and the food was good too and came in quite a hefty serving. The beach is also beautiful. Instagram-worthy, ganon. :) Also loved the fact that you can borrow books for lazy days when you just want to sit...
